Little Fires Really ARE Everywhere - S1 E1 & E2

Episode 1-The Spark The season opens with a raging house fire and a fire chief asking mom Elaina who would want to burn down her house with her in it. There were a series of small fires lit in the house that culminated in the mini mansion burning to the ground. We are introduced to Mia and Elaina in more details. Both are mothers with complicated relationships with their daughters. There paths cross and an uncomfortable association rife with tension begins. They are quickly ensconced in each other’s lives as there children develop quick friendships. Ep 2-Seeds and All Mia somewhat reluctantly takes a job at Elaina’s house and suspicions arise. Mia develops an interest in a co worker, Bebe, at her part time waitressing job and learns a dark secret from her past. Mia ends up adding a much needed voice at Elaina’s Vagina Monologue Book Club. This leads to a moment of bonding over motherhood and it’s ebbs and flows.
