Episode description

This one was recorded after the Kansas City Chief's victory parade on Valentine's Day when fans gathered to celebrate the Super Bowl win. But then gunfire broke out. According to NBC News, a couple guys opened fire after arguing about staring at each other. Not even kidding. Sadly, Lisa Lopez-Galvin - a mother of two and a local radio DJ - was killed during the exchange. The Listen and Learn (or Not) hosts put on their serious thinking caps for this one, as well as other incidents that happen close to that event, including a shooting at a mega-church and the trial of the mother of a Michigan school shooter who is the first US parent, according to the BBC, convicted of manslaughter over a mass shooting by their child. Find out what the hosts think of all it. On a lighter note, stick around until the end. Claire, Laurie and Anna try to make barnyard animal noises. They prove they're quite good at it...or not.
