Episode description

Raygun, the Olympic breakdancer, finally claimed victory—but not at the Olympics! In fact, it wasn't even Rachel Gunn. It was Anna D dressed as Raygun. For this, she won the office Halloween costume contest as the iconic Australian breakdancer. Laurie dazzled as US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but you'll never guess what she had to use in place of a gavel! Listen and you'll find out. Claire talks about a local politician in her small town who, before Election Day, took a hands-on approach by knocking on doors rather than allowing his reputation to be shaped by others, which led to a discussion on libel laws and the puzzling trend of people seemingly facing no consequences for making defamatory remarks. Also, we lost a legend: Teri Garr, known for her roles in "Young Frankenstein", "Mr Mom" and "Tootsie", as well as her hit song "Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat"....oh sorry, that was her daughter Phoebe...or not.
