Episode description

In this episode of the Linda's Life Lessons podcast, Linda dives into college finances, the cost of college and the value of a degree. She explain the difference between student loan debt and consumer debt and how a college degree is another investment you make for your future that does not depreciate over the course of your lifetime!

She shares some great tips on why you should live in the dorm and take a personal finance class if your school offers it.  She weighs in on how many hours you should work during the semester and why she believes student loans are manageable.

She confesses her bias about advocating for investing in a college degree but surprisingly, it has nothing to do with her being a college professor! She wants to reshape your thinking and determination to graduate with zero student loans to consider that it might lead to a lower quality of life and lower grades.
