In 21st Century America, truth is often inconvenient and as a culture, comfort & convenience are a part of our mantra. The inconvenient nature of salvation causes many to choose 'religion of man' over a 'relationship with God.' From a text that I have never heard anyone preach on nor which, in 20 years of preaching, have I preached on.
