125. Uncovering 250+ Neighborhoods with Tony From Hear in LA

125. Tony Pierce has been writing about Los Angeles for over 15 years and has worked as a journalist and editor for both the LAist, the Los Angeles Times and KPCC. But now his passion project is his own podcast called Hear in LA where he is on a mission to uncover all the secrets of 250+ neighborhoods in Los Angeles. And how does he do that? Tony goes right into each area and finds at least 5 interesting people from there to interview. Each episode is one interview so that's at least 5 episodes per 250 neighborhoods and he estimates that this project will take 15-20 years to complete! Now that is an insane amount of commitment that can only come from someone who truly loves this city!
