If you type in any search about hiking in Los Angeles or Southern California the Modern Hiker is almost always on the first page if not in the top 3 in results. We have been following this blog and all their awesome outdoor and hiking tips for many years so we were super excited to interview the owner and author Casey Schreiner on this episode.  Casey has also created a hiking app and written 2 popular books on the LA outdoors, 'Day Hiking in Los Angeles' and 'Discovering Griffith Park'.
