Episode description

According to the commentary on a famous painting, the artist wished to to convey the message that “the course of justice is relentless if sometimes slow.” It certainly must have felt that way for the faithful who were living in Isaiah’s day in the midst of hostile circumstances. It may fill us will fears of fear and fury. It may even leave us wanting to take matters into our own hands. However, Isaiah reminds us of who is coming. He says, “with divine retribution He will come to save you.” But when it comes to justice and retribution, God reminds us that He's got this. Instead of finding ourselves preoccupied with these thoughts, we can direct our attention elsewhere. In fact, here's what replaces our fear with encouragement and brings eternal joy.
