Christ Alone

As we get closer to celebrating the Reformation on Saturday, we’ve been taking a at those three great Latin phrases which describe what we believe. We believe that we have been declared righteous before God by grace alone (sola gratia), through faith alone (sola fide), on the basis of Scripture alone (sola scriptura). However, there’s still one more that actually serves as the foundation for all of the rest. That phrase is Christ alone (Solus Christus). Here's the wonderful comfort that ties all the other three together.
