Ep93: What makes a relationship?

In this episode my guest Ian Sherwin and I discuss what makes a relationship?    I have known Ian for near on 35 years. Ian and I have been friends since we were 14.    On the show today we explore what makes a healthy relationship? What's involved? I'd say we look beyond the obvious like honesty, trust, respect and open communication.    We certainly suggest relationships take effort and compromise from both people, but in what form? We look at the balance of power. And consider, respect, each other's independence, the making of our own decisions without fear of retribution or retaliation, and what it means to truly love.
