The relational principle behind the eight commandment is intimacy. God wants to have a close relationship with us and desires that we have an intimate relationship with our spouse.

The Ten Commandments

God has commanded us not murder one another, and the spiritual principle behind the commandment is love. How do we love and forgive people who do cruel and harmful things ? How do we love our neighbor as ourselves when our neighbor is difficult to love?

The Ten Commandments Part Six

The spiritual principle shared in the fifth commandment is honor. How do we honor people who do dishonorable things? Why does God as us to honor people in a fallen world? Honor is also connected to faith. If we learn to honor people who are in authority or where honor is due, it can help us to grow in our faith.

The Ten Commandments Part Five

The spiritual principle behind the fourth commandment is rest. God wants us to rest so that we can be fully present with Him, our spouse, and our families. If we are over worked and over stressed, we will never be fully present and enjoy life as God intended.

The Ten Commandments Part Four

God didn't give us the Ten Commandments as list of do's and don'ts that make it difficult for us to know Him. Under grace and with the help of the Holy Spirit we can fulfill the righteousness of the commandments and draw closer to God. In this message we are focusing on the spiritual principle revealed in the fourth commandment, which deals with reverence and humility.

The Ten Commandments are spiritual principles that help us to draw closer to God and know Him better. For everyone who is born again the Ten Commandments aren't Law they are life. The Holy Spirit who dwells in us, empowers us to live the righteousness of each principle revealed through the commandments.

Strongholds

Strongholds are established through disobedience. Strongholds must be broken and should never be tolerated in the life of a Spirit filled believer. Through Christ, the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, strongholds can be broken.

Signs Revisited Part Four

In the last days God is calling His church to be watchman. The Body of Christ ought to be aware of what the signs of the end are indicating. Likewise, we ought to be warning those who aren't prepared for Christ return, warning them about what the signs are indicating.

Jesus said in the last days the love of many would grow cold. The Apostle Paul said in the last days people would be lovers of themselves, rather than lovers of God. As a result they would have a form of godliness, but it would not have the power to transform their lives.

There are signs occurring around the world that are reminding us that Jesus return for His church is imminent. There will be a rapture of the church, Jesus will catch away His church prior to the tribulation.

Are a Christian, a disciple, learner and follower of Jesus? Christianity isn't a matter of identifying with Jesus in regards to religion, culture or tradition. Being a Christian, means you are following Jesus in every facet of life.

Give Me A Drink

If you're thirsty for God, living water is available. If you need a drink of living water it's available to anyone who is thirsty. Religion, fame, relationships, money, experiences or substances cannot quench the thirst of your soul.

Signs Part Three

There are signs occurring in our world, in the church and in our daily lives that are warning us and revealing something about our current situation. Jesus warned us about the power of deception in the last times. As followers of Christ we must be aware of the deception present in this world, and that which belongs to our flesh, which is self deception.

Signs Part Two

Signs are everywhere and they give us information about our current environment as well as the future. Are we seeing the signs God is revealing to us? Are we responding to those signs wisely with action? The increase and acceptance of sexual immorality in our nation is a sign.

There are signs happening that remind us that Jesus is coming soon. If we ignore the signs and don't take them seriously, our inaction can have a drastic impact upon our lives as well as our nation. Are we seeing the signs and heeding their warnings?

Joseph Part Four

God is in the business of restoration. The trials Joseph endured did not hinder God from using Joseph. God used the the trials to refine Jospeh, and qualify him for leadership. All the pain and suffering caused by the brothers of Joseph was forgiven and God restored their relationship.

Joseph Part Three

How Joseph handled betrayal without becoming bitter or vindictive is an example to us in Christ. In regards to a betrayal vengeance can fuel our anger and deepen our pain. If we allow God to avenge our situation, like Jospeh we can experience peace which surpasses all understanding.

Joseph Part Two

The most compelling part of Joseph's story is the betrayal he suffers at the hand of his brothers. Joseph is an incredible example of how to respond to betrayal without becoming bitter.

The life of the Old Testament patriarch Joseph is an amazing story. God had a plan for Joseph. God's plan for Joseph was fulfilled through trials and difficulties. Joseph endured these trials faithfully and as a result saved his life and the lives of his family.
