Episode description

The third installment of the new series sees Neil interview Dr Rosalind Watts from the Imperial College London. She has been part of a research team who have for the first time in over 50/60 years have been allowed to research Psilocybin's effects on depression – Psilocybin is more commonly known as ‘magic mushrooms’ and used recreationally, hence it's current negative stigma, however Psilocybin could be a complete game changer in the way mental illness is treated. The podcast will explore previous and current research and what Dr Rosalind Watts hopes Psilocybin will hold for the future of mental health treatment. If you are interested in applying to participate in the next Psilocybin study please contact: b.cunha@imperial.ac.uk for more information!
