Exposing the Darkness: Dr. Juliette Engel
Episode description
Dr. Engel is a former UW assistant professor in the Department of Radiology, drastically changed the course of her life in 1992. She sold a successful diagnostic ultrasound practice in Bellevue, Washington to establish the MiraMed Institute, a nonprofit which sought to improve obstetric care in Russia and advancing human rights for women and children. She went on to cofound the Angel Coalition, an underground railroad that rescued thousands of trafficking victims throughout the former USSR. Dr. Engel is an MKUltra survivor and has written about her experiences with mind control in her memoir SPARKY: Surviving Sex Magick and her subsequent work in Russia in ANGELS OVER MASCOW.
