Episode description

If we are going to claim that the nuclear bombings of Japan are obviously evil, then we need to at least look at the circumstances leading to the decision. Circumstances like: amount of Japanese bombing before the nuclear attacks, American lives lost before the nuclear attacks, and the extent of worldwide famine and starvation related to the possibility of extending the war.

 However, Dave Smith is probably on to something when he claims that the United States uses World War II as some sort of justification for needless aggressive behaviors since then. Is this all about a human tendency to compete for resources?
