Lately we've been going down the rabbit hole of the late model Beetles. Late model Beetles were the most technologically advanced type 1 Volkswagens of the air-cooled brand. As they got later into production sales numbers dropped considerably for multiple reasons we talk about that on this podcast. We also discussed Mike Goode and his collection of Volkswagens that he's had over the years and his passion for the hobby. He has an affinity for late model Volkswagens growing up in Chicago not a lot of the early ones were around. Building a collection over the years.
