Episode description

This week our guest speaks to us about life as a self diagnosed autistic man. We talk about what self diagnosis is, why it is so controversial in some circles and what being self diagnosed means to our guest.
Our guest also shares his journey, diagnosed aged 5 with "clumsy child syndrome" which we know now to be called Dyspraxia. He explains to us what Dyspraxia looked like in his life and still affects him and the strategies put in place to help him. As a 90s kid we talk about schooling for neurodiverse children in this era and what's next after self diagnosing himself and identifying as an autistic adult.
