Sarah Christie is an advocate for people, our planet and animals with over a decade of experience in the radio broadcast industry. In 2021, Sarah combined her love of meeting new people and broadcasting background and created the eco-conscious interview series, Earth Care. Earth Care is a short form interview series that is 100% for the environment. The name is an extension of “self-care” because ultimately we can’t live a healthy life without a healthy planet. All interviews are bite-sized and feature new climate experts with their take on how we can save the planet. In 2023, Sarah launched the #FansChooseToReuse pledge! This free pledge encourages concert attendees to do their part in reducing plastic pollution by bringing a reusable water bottle to live music events. Sarah’s mission with Earth Care is to communicate approachable and accessible climate action steps for everyone! The Fans Choose To Reuse pledge is a community of music fans taking climate action by reducing plastic bottle pollution one concert at a time. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle to live music events to eliminate the need for buying a single-use plastic bottle. (If the venue allows reusable water bottles) There is also a free pledge available online for music fans to take and join the growing community of fans choosing to reuse. Pledge participants are also encouraged to show their reusable water bottle in action at concerts via social media and include the hashtag #FansChooseToReuse to help spread the word!
