We found our wife! Then we take off onto our next major questline - the Companions!
I have dumped everything that has weight in my inventory and starting somewhat of a new character this far into the game. And I'm led on a wide goose chase when I find a wedding ring in my inventory...
Letting Skyrim throw everything it has at me and see how long I can survive. The goal was 100 days. I made it 3...Join me as I struggle to get out of the tutorial, rob Whiterun blind, then die trying to win Ysolda's heart!
We finally vanquish the Dragon Cult by destroying the final Dragon Priest - Rahgot! Then we take the mask back to Bromjunaar and get our final Dragon Priest mask...
We continue our quest to vanquish the Dragon Cult and next on our list is the Dragon Priest Otar! Which judging by his tomb, followers, and history, he was either well respected or feared...
We tackle two big storylines in this episode! First we find a Minecraft Easter egg. Next, we finish the Blood on the Ice questline and catch the necromancer loose in Windhelm. Finally, we begin a Dragon Priest hunting quest and start with the Brutal Leader - Hevnoraak!
We are in Sovngarde, ladies and gentlemen! Alduin is devouring the souls of fallen heros for strength to retake the world. But we are here to vanquish the World Eater once and for all!
We're back on the main questline where we interrogate a dragon who agrees to assist us in the defeat of Alduin by flying us to Skuldafn where we find the portal to Sovngarde and Aldiun's most trusted Dragon Priest guarding it!
We reach Gelebor's brother who is key person behind the prophecy! We battle him for Auriel's Bow!
We journey through the labyrinth of the Forgotten Vale and come across a structure built by the Snow Elves way back before humans came to Skyrim! But everything is frozen inside...
We are in a sacred land of the Snow Elves trying to get Auriel's Bow! But first, we need to conduct a ritual by ewers from 5 basins around the land.
Skyrim tortures me by sending us into a spider-infested cave in search of Ariel's Bow. We manage to survive all the spiders but then run into the Snow Elves! Not the Falmer as we know them in Dwarven ruins but the civilized society of Snow Elves.
We perform the rituals of a Moth Priest to read an Elder Scroll to learn the location of Auriel's Bow! But I struggle because I think there's a glitch when really it's me missing something obvious....
To access the Elder Scroll, the Soul Cairn has 3 guardians and a dragon ruler that need to be dealt with first.
We learn Serana's mother is hiding in an ethereal plane called the Soul Cairn. But we need to battle about a half-dozen vampires in order the get there. Once in, we learn the building is guarded by Bone Keepers who we fight in the next episode.
Our quest to walk in the daylight as vampires requires a total of three Elder Scrolls: the one Serana had, the one we have from the main questline, and Serana's mother has the last. So we set out to find her hidden somewhere in the castle!
There is a way to have vampires walk in the sun and this Elder Scroll has the key and we need a Moth Priest to read it. But the Moth Priest has been captured by the Dawnguard! So we set out to get the Moth Priest back...
We need to get the Bloodstone Chalice but first we stop into the Temple of Mara to kick off the wedding. Nearing the end of Redwater Den, Ingun takes off to the wedding, leaving us! But we make it back to the wedding in time! Unfortunately, I may have lost the Nightingale Bow...
We have a glitchy quest! We work hard to become a Vampire Lord and it's unclear if it will work for us or not. But it eventually does! Lord Harkon himself gives us a tutorial in being a Vampire Lord then gives us a very important quest.
The Dawnguard sent us to clear out a castle that vampires are very interested in and we find out why... There is vampire that has been locked up since before there was an Empire! We're talking early in the Merethic era. And we need to take her home...
We get everything we need for Ingun Black-Briar and she's still not interested! Turns out she's not a marriage candidate so we open the console and the results are not as expected. But then I've heard they're reforming the Dawnguard...
We have gotten Tullius and Stormcloak together to set down their swords for a time to give us a chance to deal with the dragon menace! But some surprise guests show up - Delphine and Elenwen.
We take the Elder Scroll to the time wound and take look into the past to learn the Dragonrend shout from the ancient nords who created it! But when we return, we gain the attention of Alduin who comes after us at the Throat of the World...
First we finish something we started a while ago; getting the Longhammer! Then we visit the Shrine of Boethiah where we're asked to sacrifice someone who trusts us...
The Falmer have human servants and there's a dragon in Blackreach! We encounter about every type of enemy but we finally reach the Elder Scroll! Then when returning the Lexicon to Septimus, we get a new task involving an old friend of ours.
We finally make it to the incredible underground world of Blackreach and already need to battle Falmer, giant bugs, and centurions! We have a mini quest to research the Crimson Nirnroot as we explore and continue making our way to our main objectives - transcribing the Lexicon and finding the Elder Scroll.
Alftand is the Dwemer ruin that sits above the Blackreach where we need to go to find the Elder Scroll! But there is another expedition that has beat us here and there is a problem within that team. It appears drugs and greed has dismantled them and the Falmer have been picking them off.
We catch a rumor of someone who has been kidnapping girls and digging up the dead for horrible purposes. We put our Chris Hansen hats on and head off to his hide out to take him down and make the city of Dawnstar safe again!
Alduin's Wall mentions a shout that "defeated" Alduin called Dragonrend. Delphine suggests we speak with the Greybeards but they don't know either. They try to stay away from combat shouts. So there is only one place left to turn. Their great leader, Paarthurnax!
We meet Delphine and Esbern at Karthspire which holds the entrance into Sky Haven Temple. Our Dragonborn blood unlocks the temple and Esbern decodes what is written on Alduin's Wall. But in order to learn about a new unknown shout, we must go back to visit the Greybeards!
