It doesn't look that big, but it's this like tiered and I think it technically is underground, dude, some bits of it or at least well, yeah, I think where the main hall was is underground because well, yeah, when you enter a street level to pay on the street level yard area, yeah, you could be on the second floor. But it's awesome, Tom, you don't know what that is. That is sort of the big comic book, video
game entertainment convention in this area. And we got invited. It was great. We went, Eric, Sun Max went. They they Max pootered out during the day. That's when Eric had to leave. He walked to the whole Mind you, you guys were there an hour before I was there. But I told you even early. I mean I think dad early, I got a great parking spot in front of the building. Good for you.
I oh my god, I asked, I don't walk thirty minutes to the convention center because so this I was like, oh, there we go. Anything it was was. It was kind of busy, so I didn't want to park there, so I spot heroed something and I was like, Oh, that looks close on the map. And then when you do the walking distance, I was like, oh, this is a lot farther on the map than I realized. I parked in the Washington Plaza Hotel. I think
that's what a Crown Plaza hotel something like that. It's where it's where we ended, uh the Pride parade at it was by there, Jesus. Yeah. So I was like, oh, the map looks so close. I was like, oh, this is not at all. So I was walking through like some burrows. I was like, am I in DC? Still it doesn't feel like DC? Wow? You you should have yet next year. I got my steps in Mabe, I got my steps in two. We walked up and down that thing twice, you know. In Max,
that's why I pooped out. He should have should have sat him down a little longer than He's fine. He's fine. But yeah, there's the thing. If I got the parking on Wednesday, I would have gotten right there, right next to the building, have been like fifteen bucks. But oh, wow, that's what you're gonna do. I don't know why you just don't just park randomly. You're not gonna I didn't get a ticket. I don't even pay for parking on Saturday. Oh good for you. Knock on
wood scratch, as you'll find out in a couple of days. Probably no, I didn't get a thing yet there. Maybe it's the delayed one. Never trust those parking tools. They aren't out in DC during the week they are during the weekend. They're a little When I wanted to go see Spider I wanted to go see across Spider vers this weekend, I did it. I parked in like a paid parking spot temporarily to go get my ticket because fun fact, you buy a ticket in person, you're not paying five bucks
of booking fee and online fee and all that. So I did that, say five bucks, you know, paid paid for it on my soda, and uh. I was like, I gotta get out of here. And literally as soon as I was leaving, the parking person entered that like paid area, Like, ha, not today, Yeah, what does that mean? That would have gotten caught and that would have given me a ticket because I didn't pay for the parking How did you pick? How'd you get in?
Then it was like an open line. It's like those like we go to the little Kiosk thing or whatever that's in the that's right at the end of the lot. But anyway, Awesome Con up and down. What was your highlight of awesome Con was in your low light? Highlight? In your light the highlight was watching Max see everything that was going on and him going crazy for all of the cool things. He's going in and out of the crowd. He was going in and out come back. Um. Highlight was
that. The low light was that we didn't get to stay longer with you and see more of the vendors because, like I said, he did tap
out. Even though my dumbass thought that Awesome Awesome Con Junior was on the other end of the thing, but when it was actually right next to one, it was it was the same setup as the we went I think in twenty eighteen, which was nice because it was like, all right, we know where everything Well you didn't, but I remembered where everything was, like, oh, the artists are over here, this is where the kids stuff is. Um, what was it in your little lette was just not knowing
the setup. Not knowing the setup. Yeah, and then also to not getting my press pass because I love having a press pass. What happens Eric Willie Nilly was like, let me go to will call. I saw a text. Everyone stuck on was like, I don't think there's a will call. There's a press because I saw the emails saying go to the press room. But then I thought it was through the main entrance. But it was through that side door that I should have gone through it to press and been
like, I need to go get my press pass. Well, the press room was like some badass room that wasn't by any entrance good I found and I was like, all right, how do I get it into this damn place? Now? That just walked through a convention center. If you know you used to the car Expo, you're going for a wedding expo. They kind of having one specifically the car expo is that whole area that we were in, and then upstairs is where the European cars. Yeah yeah, well
but this is like, oh where everything is here? It's there, it's here, it's you miss things you don't get you gotta go all three days to find out what's what's what? We should have gone max some time. It wasn't fathers there would have gone something. It is interesting though, because like we my highlight was probably hanging out with you guys. We got a little key chain, so a little matching key chain, which was fun.
Which that that's that's how you make money at those conventions. Serious these key chains. They were selling Pokemon, Pokemon, Yugio, Magic, the Gathering. But what Pokemon set was it from? It was the first edition Pokemon they had. It was like the first wave of Pokemon cards. And then they had um sort of like a newer one that was like the newer Pokemon. Look at least um. They weren't cards. They were like stickers or pictures someone cut put in a key chain thing. It looks dope, I
have the Magian. Why do you? Because I think for me I was more tuned to Yugio cards than Pokemon cards. Are you talking about You can name every hundred for the Pokemon, but that's the Pokemon the cards when we're getting cards. And that's why I was kept a bating back and forth. Was Yugio was my game? Baby? Oh so you played Yugo you didn't play Pokemon? Yeah, I remember, I want a regional tournament, yes, in Yugio. And then you played both because you're Pokemon is too much,

They had Pokemon yellow and oh and green. They had um the Japanese versions of them. It was like sixty bucks each. I was very tempted to buy it, but I don't know. Also, I'm like,
this is cool, but does it work? And then I lost the table and I couldn't find it, and I was like, where is it? There also was a Muppet table we passed by at one point. I wanted to go back and just just inquire how much a muppet would be, like if I owned a Muppet. It was an actual mump. It was like whatever puppet, but like would have been cool. I'm kind of mad we didn't buy the mystery box you guy. You guys can buy them online
on Amazon. Remember they were promoting that no where they really yeah where? I don't remember what the website was though you should have took a picture of it. It is funny the awesome cons like retweeting recap things people in the comments like what's the name of the fudge place? And awesome cons like oh is this so? People like finding all the vendors by right because there was that fudge, a huge table of fudge. Good not a fudge man,
but look good. Also another interesting thing is if you go to one of these conventions is they have obviously there's the in convention center like food stops there. Obviously DC has a couple more in that weird like Big Food Court too, um, but they have root beer or soda stands where essentially can you buy a mug for like fifteen bucks and you can refill it throughout the whole convention space. That was packed. That was you sure wasn't beer, No,
it was like soda. I think there might have. There might have been an alcoholic one too, but that that one we passed by. It was so I think it was over by Worth as was soda because then they had the nitro brewtro brew things throughout the whole thing as well, right, which which was self pouring because you just scanned your credit card. Yeah, and then they took your money. By the way, you should be impressed. And I didn't spend that much money at all. Buyer at buy,
I really encouraged you. You really did too, because there was that game boy sp that I was like, I almost went back and bought it for you. I wasn't gonna lie, but then I got chastised again by that lady who was commenting on my crisis shirt. I was like, I'm not here for this right now. What did she see? Like? Had an edge to her right. I'm like, oh God, I almost bought um all three um God Egyptian God cards for Yugio. They were like five bucks at one point, I was like fifteen bucks.
I'm bad. But wait, did you get the Ronan uh Ronan thing? The Runan comic book comic run? Now I didn't. I'm gonna wait. I realized, I'm like, let me just go to the library bringing rent it for free instead of paying for it. You know what I'm saying, Because you could rent video games and comic books from your local library in Virginia. Maybe not man in Maryland who just gotta go the right one abously not everyone's gonna have him give you back that one of the Max. He

It's usually like a lower celebrity Andy Circus, say what you will, but I feel like there were lower select I mean he's played some like a lower celebrity, put like a Phil Lamar, one of the anime voice actors there, not Andy Circus. Well, Vegeta was like right right after the Lord of the Rings Crew and had the long line. I know Elijah would there's nobody there for him. I think maybe it's just the blind got through or something.
It also is like you have to think people might have been waiting there. That person just came to the convention. Apparently some people were waiting five hours just to get Karen Gillen It's autograph real, or even just meet her if they didn't want to pay for it. And then m Ashley Ackstein, Matt lanter Um and the guy who voices Obi Wan Roll there too, which was cool, And I was shocked they didn't have a long line because I'm
like, these are clone wars. Why didn't you get a picture or autograph but one of the money and then the money slash didn't have didn't want to wait in the line. There was a line, but I was like, I think also there was a person there that was cutting people off, like they had to go do something after. Maybe. Interesting thing is I found out as Ashley x titing voices Aska Star Wars, she got stuck at Dullars on Sunday night convention because apparently, like the flight got canceled. I'm like,
