We stayed on Canadian side, which which is way better because if you do go to Niagara Falls, you've probably seen it like Bruce Almighty, h The Maiden of the Mist or in the office where they have the Jim and Pam's wedding.

You've probably seen that clip on TikTok. You've seen that clip, I know you.

I've never seen that wedding scene was pivotal, like two thousand and eight culture. It had Forever by Chris Brown on the soundtrack, which I got to a dated a little more all this stuff, and then it was that wedding and was NBC is everywhere as a Winners. But that takes place on the American side of Niagara. The Canadian side is a lot more like Vegas slash Virginia beachy, like if they had a baby, and American side is.

More like National Parky.

So if you're looking for vibes across that border, baby, I saw the I saw the border first time I seen the border.

So I've stayed on.

I've gone to the Buffalo side when I was it was just like fifteen years ago because when of my old coworkers live group in Buffalo, we went to go see her.

And man, that a US side is borring. Yeah, it looks so bord for the Canadian side.

Nothing there, but there's a balloon thing that goes up and that's it.

There's a building that is empty. It's like five levels, it's empty all the way up to get to the top where it's an observation deck just to look out to see water falling over some falls.

It's pretty cool. They put lights on at night.

Now falls cool, but the Canadian side cooler.

The US side sucks.

We gotta do something about that because I think the US side is actually it's a national people that's I.

Think it's it's some classification of a national park or something like, which is dumb, which is nice, but also if you want.

To go visit it is is dumb, but to a degree.

So every time you go to Buffalo, make sure of your passport on you or the car across the border.

You had across the bord to go. Can you get that line? That line from Canada into the US. That was a long line, really yeah.

Because we stayed.

At I guess Shire this is the Sheraton, which uh, I think might be the best one because the closest to the actual falls and it's like closest to the Clifton Hill, which is like they're kind of like strip of everything, and so we had access to everything, which is great. But the best thing our window you could open it, you know, a little baby Juliette balcony.

If I gets delayed two hours because the airport was too big apparently in Dulles. Oh and man, tell you, that's the busiest I've seen dolls in a while, dude. But also a lot of the flights got canceled. Our friend Nick got his flight canceled. But we get it. We land great, and the same thing they have like

It was not it not because I think I think we also went to a tourist trap poutine place, but it was the only place that was there.

We like ate dinner early because our flight was at like five and more as were hunger.

I was like, let's get the poutine. It was not. No, it was not. It were not happy campers that first night.

This first day we do do the Sea and Tower, which is like if you've been to Seattle's like the needle.

Luckily I did not tell more about Final Destinations Bloodlines, which the beginning of that movie is set in a needle scenario, like.

A restaurant cool.

I didn't gonna go to the restaurant because it was closed because there's a labor strike, which is good for the.

Striking up front. They were striking, which was cool to see. You know, you never get to really see that the restaurant was actually close closed. There wasn't. I don't know. There might have been.

I don't know if the cafe staff is restaurant staff, so I don't know, like there's a little like mini cafees on drinks and sandwiches. We did tower more hates heights. Had to sit in the back of the elevator. It's okay, she knows this Pop was real sweaty, Susan. I was like, who there is right out of my head. The Sea Tower is a cool thing where it's like metal bars you can hold on to and like look over the side,

Or something like that. I think it was that much to go up, which is cool. Uh.

Canadian candy really good, like maple maple caramel more and I might buy some from Amazon, you know, because it was cheaper here than it was in Canada.

And that's okay. But then we did do.

Old Spaghetti Factory, which is great, and that is I know it's in America too, but we've never We don't have them in this area.

So where are they mostly based?

Like Minnesota, Oh, Midwest, that kind of thing where you get in. We sat in a trolley car, which was cool, and there was a carousel too.

And Maura liked it as well because I had a lot of vegetarian options. You got at Drankie Drink. I got a pinic a lotta. It tasted like my Panic a lota. I hadn't point the conup, probably the same mix.

There was a show filming in Toronto, because you know a lot of US shows they film in Canada because it's like cheaper. It's called Boston Blue. So if you watch Boston Blue or if it's coming out this fall or whatever, and you see a big building that's like a big sky scraper more and I walked by it while I was filming, so I was like, should we stick around for it while they are doing extras? But

But yeah, So then we went to Kensington Market I think was what it was called, which is this big like vintage market. It's not like just like a food mark and everything. And I conned Maura into buying the perfect sweater for our Disney trip this winter.

Hell yeah, it was only nineteen Canadian dollars, which is like twelve bucks or something like that.

Nailed it, and I convinced her to bias. She got that, she got a souvenir. There, Let's see what else do we do? What else we do? That was that, And then we took the train from Toronto to Niagara, which was a three hour train.

It was like a commuter train. It wasn't that bad.

Wait, what do you mean train in Niagara from.

Toronto to Niagara Falls? I thought it was right there? No, really, I mean you could drive.

It's like a two hour drive or something or something like that with tolls or something. Got I got off the bus or the train and let me tell you that where the train station was in Niagara Falls compared to where the city was dead zone and there's people with suitcases fighting for their lives trying to figure out what's going on. Really, we got on the bus, got to our hotel.

That was great. I know I saw that.

That's pretty cool. I don't that's spoilers because I haven't seen that. You know, mild hotel was great. Uh, the lounge came and clutch for breakfast again. But Clifton Hills you got Tim Hortons. If you've ever go ice, I did get Tim Bitts finally on the last day, so that was great. There's literally putt putt and jurassics, golf and funhouses everywhere. They had a burger king. They had a roller coaster on top of it. Well thet to sketchy roller coasters you see like a carnival or something.

Groundhant go to fair grounds, you should.

That's a plant that's that's a plant food fried dough like that. Oh, that's a funnel cake. No, that's not a funnel cake. That's fried dough. That's that's a funnel cake. It's like this. I got papoosa but fried but no filling. Never had that, never seen that. Well, we'll get you on, We'll get you on. This year was delish.

We did do I think the coolest thing is we found off TikTok. It's a place called the Tunnel, which is where I had that Secret Tunnel video.

So there's an old power plant that used to actually like get electricity from the falls, but it got decommissioned and so mostly it's like a little museum. But you take an elevator down, you go inside this big time that's so cool. They like light up and then eventually like you get let out into this platform that's really close to the falls.

Wow.

So we got to see the fireworks first night from that platform too, because we tired it out with the fireworks. Then we did do Canadian Canada's version.

Of The Maid and the Mist, which is cool. Becare you get on the boat the Poncho. It was only twenty minutes. But it was it was it was a wet twenty minutes. You know what I'm saying.

They have a metro, but we didn't.

We really walked everywhere because the metro is kind of confusing, so really yeah, because they have an above ground little metro and then they have an underground metro and so when you see the directions like which metro might take you, and there's buses and it's confusing, and sometimes you can drive in the little above ground metro lanes and sometimes you can't drive in.
