Three days remain of spoilers and avoiding the Internet, and don't be ready, because it's time. She's about to get weird. You're prepared for it to get weird. Things, We're gonna get weird. It's getting weird. I'm gonna get real weird with it. Let's get weird. Let's get where? Where? Get Where? Are you ready to get weird with Hoodie and Eric? I'm ready. I just listen to the hundred and any ninth episode of

Let's Get Weirder. I'm every week we Gum Gum come together together. Yeah, give you the weird goes from our lives, the streets, the streets upside down, in between the universe, and you're ina the sky is above the crowns belows and just have a good time. You know, sometimes you see a little podcast hang out with your friends while they're talking in the backseat of your car and you're driving, and they're not helping you at all because

they're just talking in the backseat. Everybody got those friends on a road track. I don't want anyone talking to silence and listening to the music that I'm playing. You don't get the anxiety of oh we have we haven't talked in a little bit. No, but you know it's funny. Uh well, we're gonna get to it here in a second. But getting in the car with four different women is the funniest thing in the world. After the comedy show, I had a drive Sauce and her three friends people an, yeah,

you're a fan now, buddy. They were bumping that joint and I was like, okay, cool, And then the conversation they were talking about it was like I couldn't keep up and I am very eighty, are a little tipsy a little and I was like, the conversations are going on here are impressive. I was like, wow, so now do they remember in the conversation. I can remember any of that stuff because it was it was intense yeatty. Sometimes you just need you need a scream yellow song with your

with galpals. You know, No, we've done that before, have we? Yeah? One all the time? Do we? I don't know what's funny is we did that at the comedy shows past weekend. And then Kyle and d wanted to get on it too. I was like, okay, back, I'll give you some sweet nothing. Oh yeah, when I called you sexy nips and they were like what I was like, Yes, I called people sexy tips, sweet nips. You know, I'm pretty funny, guys. That's what I do. What he tries to do, it's not

a try. It just happens. Cappin. You know. How'd your date go? By the way we talked about it on last week? I was there, what was coming? So nervous? Wasn't so nervous? I was nervous. I did. I didn't think the look. I didn't like the location when we got there because one of the table is really low by a window. Yeah, it was a huge I don't know if you're buy the window in the middle sitting where all the guys sitting in the booth and you're

not, no, no, we got it. You know, table got a legit table had as got a reservation of course, got open table you know right there. Helt me out. Oh those apps. But the conversation was great. It was just I'm I have to stop being so clingy or is it the word word I think? I feel like? But helpful? Yeah, hopeful? Clingye. I don't know. I just when I like something, I want to have it all the time. So I just have to be patient and not be ridiculous and just enjoy this. Enjoy this part.

Well, you didn't bring the flower, no, because I asked two other young ladies at the comedy show the night before on Friday. Yoda and Haley shut them out. What up? And they both were like on the fence with it. And that's what got me a little bit. On first, I was super going home and I was like, you know, whod He's got a good point. But then listening to them, they're like, and I feel like it's a good touch, But I don't think it's a

first date good touch. Maybe if we go on another date then I would do it. Then I'll do it. I think i'll do it. I think i'll do for a second date. Yeah, date, I just want you to pop up on a second day update. I got ghosted, I

got ghost of what happened? Well? Yeah, And you know, and the thing too is like, you know, dating another professional or trying to date another professional, you realize how busy people are, and it just drives me nuts because I'm like, all right, let's just let's hang out again. Let's hang out again. But I do love how she did set this parameter of like I don't just want to come over and do Netflix and chill, or do a dinner or you cook me dinner. I want to go

out good, which I yeah, get out of the house. Yeah, because yeah, people get into those dating ruts where it's like, all right, we've been dating together for three months, we've only gone on one or two dates. I like, I think that's a good idea. I think it's plate not too slow, but a little bit of a quickness in it. But mm hmm, it's really funny. And I mean literally, you sat there from twelve thirty to three point thirty just having a conversation. I'm

gonna tell you right now, don't go see a movie together. Why don't fall in that cliche. Go do stuff, don't just sit in the theater. We joked about how we're both so comfortable with going to see movies by ourselves that we would go to the movie. When's the last movie you saw? O yourself? I've seen like every movie with you. It's been a hot minute. But I would I like go I if I had time, I go by myself more. And like she'd go see one movie and I

go see another movie. I did see the Marvels by myself. I walked to the movie theater in Florida to go see it, and that movie is are god awful. It was okay, it was more of a Disney plush special than the movie, but that's all good. Wow. But speaking of movies, dead Pool Ring comes out this week and you're wondering, Oh, why did Hoodies tease it led to this moment. Don't worry. Uh, We're gonna go see it on Friday, three more days to avoid spoilers,

Have you muted things on Twitter? Because let me tell you, I had to mute some things based on that last trailer, which you probably haven't seen yet, So good for you. Now, Yeah, spoiled some cameos, Oh god. Yeah. So avoid the TV or TikTok or the internet. I need it, I need. But so my question is, because we're seeing together, your son Max is coming with us, Yeah, a couple people from office. Yeah we should have, and then maybe more is coming

to depends on how work goes. Uh, what's the best way for you to see a movie in twenty twenty four? What do you mean? Like, so, if you were to pick a movie like, say you're seeing dead Pool, Wolverine and you had your pick, what would you see it in four D? Three D? IMIL sorry, a movie like Deadpool, Wolverine, Dolby. I don't think it's gonna really need IMAX, you know.

And then what what's the four D gonna be for the forty X theaters talk about, like for like Twisters, Yeah, like a twist if we were Twisters and forty X perfect, But what like, what's it gonna do for the shay bullets as the air closed by your hair? Nah? No, I'd rather see it where like you really can hear the pop or like a good Colors yeah, a good yeah. But I like more the sound. I appreciate going to theaters because you could really emerge Twisters. I felt

like there was an actual tornado and all goodness. It was great to see it when we got to see it last week in the Dolby Cinema thingscense. I appreciated that a lot. I feel like three D isn't like it's still a thing, but it's not worth it. No, Like I get it if that's the only screening time you can go to, but it's not worth

the price. Plus like those were still in the air of fifteen years ago of those plastic black grimed glasses being your three D effect and not something they don't really work man, Like, there's really nothing any like there is more depth. But you know, I popped up in my TikTok there's a drive in theater in Maryland, and I want to go, Yeah, that's gonna be like that's gonna be like a popcorn movie, like you go see a old movie in that drive it, you know, because I'm worried about like

my car could die if the radio is on too long. I'm like, how did all these cars in the drive exist? Back in the day, they had they had a speaker they put in the car. Oh, I thought you had to tune your radio. Do it? Some do And then that's why there was pipes next to where you stood. You'd also call the person to have them come bring you food or you'd go get food back in the day. Yeah, because they knew that cars would die. Hoodie.

I don't know, it's too like the cars are kind of die in two hours unless it's a really old unless the battery sloppy sloppy jelopy, what is that? I don't know, but hey, oh this is this did lead to my conversation more and I don't have internet in our apartment right now. You take my DVDs. We well, we have DVDs, but literally, I know these DVDs are old and they're showing me the old ass nineties version of Harry Potter, WHI looks grainy and crappy as hell, but bespeakings because

Hoodie just moved. And how did the move go? It went well, you know, our our friends of JK moving really helped us out. I think that the coolest thing was that, like we had a pack and a move day, and I think having that helped a lot, because if you do it all on one day, it's a long ass day. But like everything was moved out, everything's put in the truck quickly. They almost beat me to the destination when we left our house, and I was like,

ah, I got you by a minute. Don't worry because I was turning and they were pulling over behind me. Left separately, so they were going fast. They stop for food they needed to get that. It felt bad, but we gave him gatorade, some bars, some protein bars. You know, you can help them out. It was fun. The thing is Nemora didn't want to pack everything, and so a lot of it is like, all right, she's on a work trip. Now you have to pack

unpack everything. So I'm putting like all my clothes in the closet right now. I'm like, yeah, he's gonna last for a week and he's gonna be moved somewhere else. Then I gotta be hung up here. I put my shoes somewhere nice, like, oh, those won't be here past this weekend. You know. I got to build a queen bed at some point. But it's weird because like you get home, like I don't want to build bucks. This something good? I don't really. Yeah, I love

building stuff. It's like clutter and clutter is my my like thing that drives me crazy. And I'm like, ah, but there's too much clutter. You're like, I can't do anything. I'm not helping clutter. You're taking the box and building. Yeah. Put all the boxes. Yeah, you break them down, You put them in a one box and you throw it out. Yeah, you never keep growing the boxes keep growing. Did you not work retail? Like I worked at game Stop, right, but didn't

you guys break down boxes all the time? It was you know, I never actually, I never broke down boxes. It was usually like console boxes that someone traded in, But I never actually broke down in the box. Oh them trash. Someone else broke down the morning people. Oh I always working night break. The morning is when you get all the shipments and stuff.

I used to love breaking when I worked at Toys r US and when I worked at CVS breaking it because you could literally take forever to break down boxes and steal some time and not have to deal with customers, because I was not a fan of customers, because the customer is always wrong. I don't care what you want to say, fight me on it. The customer is always wrong. And I would just sit there and break down boxes for maybe eight hours and it was great. And it was they kept everything nice

and clean. Come help clean my apartment. No, buddy, it's not hard. You have how many blades you have in your house? Do you actually own a knife? Pocket knife? Yeah? How did you own three pocket knives? I mean using scissors? Rip out the pocket knife if it makes it as much faster. Yeah, maybe cut away, hoodie? You cut away? Who's an eagle scout? Right? You cutting away? That was over yourself. I was like, oh, this guy forgot already. You can take you old, don't take my tot and hit, take your

what my tot and chit with you never had a tote hit. No, didn't get that love boy Scouts. No, I did not get to that love and boy scout. So you tote and chit and I think it was fire chit. I don't know if this is the thing that I had to do in my boy Scout troop or a national thing. Is you're giving a card or like I can carry a pocket knife, I can make fires or whatever, and then if you did something wrong, they would cut the corner off of it. And if you had all four corners cut off, you'd

have to take the class or whatever again for it. Really yeah, So when ever, like someone would hand you a pocket any knife for pocket pocket knife, mostly you have to say thank you, and so whenever our scissors and so whenever more like give me scissor and like here go, and she's like, oh what do you want? You have to say thank you? It's like my tone, chin my tone, chin mare. You have to

say thank you. It's so funny. I didn't know that. And the fire thing was just like, oh, you caused a fire, you know, you caused the brush fire. That wasn't more of a semantics thing. That was the more obvious thing. I thought. It was also to remember you can't. You couldn't back in the day when you had the pocket knife. You couldn't handle the knife with the blade out. You always had close it too. But you know, no, that wasn't a thing anymore. It is what it is. You know. You just take it like,

all right, take it you want to. You won't take it Jesus. I still kind of remember my boy Scout days. Oh I remember them plenty and podcast maybe I'll do that next week, just boy Scout horror stories. There were some good times, but there was some sketchy times at the same time. When did you guys meet every week? Right? Every Wednesday? Yep? It was at my old elementary school. So that worked out because I ran that place elementary school from fifth grade to on. And I'm like,

why am I running this elementary school in tenth grade? You were the bad you know, It's what I tried. I tried. Still I am still is still got that card card carring member, do you have it on you now? I thought you didn't have it on you anymore. Now they get the new sleek wallet because you guys made fun of me, and you're like, no, you should actually carry it in your wallet because people want to see that. Oh it's in the actual wallet wallet, not mine thin

wallet from my buckets. Okay, so you don't have it on you though it's in the wallet wallet. Put it in your wallet. They carry in your pocket. My wallet wallet is right here. That's when I make big boy purchases of gift cards. That's so cool, man. Remember nine twenty nine. I haven't been. It's thirteen years ago. I'm telling you when I tried. Do you remember, Oh, well it was nine twenty nine. Sorry, but I always wanted to get this damn card back in the

day. Well I don't think. I mean, it's funny. I might have told this before on this podcast whatever iteration of the podcast, but whatever. It was. The year before I got mine, the Troop would actually give you a credit an Eagle Scout credit card that had like five hundred dollars on it. They could use whatever. But then when I got it, I was like, oh, this is it. I was like, wait,

there's no barcode on that this or anything. Now Okay, so this number, does that mean that how many people have one in the world or is that just your number? I have no idea actually, because it looks like it would be like a CVV number. Whoever, maybe from any of my troop or the area I was the five hundred and ninety six Eagle card. Could we go how many people our It was definitely more than five hundred

people Eagle Scout Court. As of twenty eighteen, over two point five million people have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts. Oh there you go. There's a Reddit thread from five years ago they got a gold one. I want the what asking what the three numbers are? Minus five nine six? Uh oh, it's it's like your area

essentially five nine six, Like that's your group. Like there's troop and then there's like council and then there's like district or only six percent of Scout members earned the rank. Wow, I'm one of those six percent. You have twenty one merit badges. Yeah, well, let me tell you how what

merit badges I got? Oh yeah, Egle Scout merit that's insane. Then there was people like if you got it early you could be like, oh, you'll get the eagle version of that merit badge, and I'm like, I got mine went out seven like turning eighteen, all right, so to be an egout. Apparently there's NF there's eleven Eagle Scouts in the NFL. I thought, so these are mari badges. You had to earn first aid, citizenship in the community. What is that? Citizenship in the nation.

So this is like you volunteered. This is like not what in the day, citizens hip in society. These are two different ones. I didn't do those. One citizens hip in the world. It was mostly like learning stuff communication. I remember that one. Cooking. Yeah, that was personal fitness, personal management, which is a money one, which was weird, like, hey, fifteen year old, here's how you had a balance, check, checkbook. It's good to learn my bucks. Camping that's a maribadge.

Yeah, good camper over a family life, which was mostly like talking about not like sex, but it was like how to hang out with their family and it's like, oh, my parents are divorced, my family don't look like that. And then you had it choose. I had an emergency preparedness. I had environmental science. Wow, you had to have swimming. I think I had swimming and hiking a lot. You only have that fourteen each? Yeah, fourteen? Okay, then the other ones are random. I

had electronics? Was my was another one? I did random merit badges? Did you have the knots? That was an nerd merit badge. That's not a real nerd. Oh? Here we go the seven rarest obscure merit badges in boy scouts. Here you go inventing. Ooh, you invented something like damp collecting and have that one bugling survey. Oh? I had orienteering.

I remember that what's orienteered? Essentially you can look at a map and take a compass, like going drafting, nuclear science, uh, nut culture, merit badge, master at arms, taxidermy, rabbit raising, how pork production? My god? Weird merit bad Here you go, okay, okay, we we got we got uh oh, I'll turn fingerprinting. Oh I had rifle, had rifle and shotgun. I remember that I could. I can't imagine you're shooting a weapon. Add canoeing, I think, and sailboading and

motor boating. I have a marit badge of motor boating. Motor boatings on a bitch and kayaking with it built for speed for comfort. Fishing was one. Golf was one. I think those are the big ones that I had, If I remember, I wish I had all my stuff. I don't know where. I think my parents threw it out because I still had my merit badges on on the on the stands, on the sash and the handbook.

The handbook was legit. Oh yeah, that hand But I think I think I still have myne my mom's house, but like it's very outdated now. Oh I remember fourteen years ago almost now. Yeah, how to tie it knot, how to start a fire, I'm not different ways now. Baby basket making I had. That was another. I remember that one was one. You never had the polar bear badge, did you? Oh? That wasn't a badge. That was more like you did an activity thing you

did that wasn't a bad. Polar Bear swim was like going, yeah, not the polar bear swim. Surviving a night below thirty two degrees, that's not a bad That was a badge we got. I think that's just they said, hey, we don't got heat for you. Hey, we can't afford the cap with heat. It was a weekend camping trip that I did in merit, and uh it was, and I'll never forget because I had a piece so badly that I peed in front of the tent opening and everyone

woke up and like what the heck? And I have peede in front of it turned yellow. Literally spent the night in an under an award. Well, I was a winter Camping award at Scouts kennern by spending twenty four hours outdoor in temperatures at or below thirty two degrees. Got that shit, well, I had the polar bear swim, so all I had to do was towing the water out. Badge, I'm getting it. You can give me a root beer float on the way back out. You know what I'm saying.

Give me the bad because Daddy's coming home today. Daddy's going over a lot of mara bed a lot of motor boating. One. But what's that motor boat going over there? Yes, I enjoy it high or low. It is on where Eric's finger goes crazy with that crazy finger, that crazy fingers, son of a gun. So we read actual misconnections from Washington, d C, dot Craigslist, dot org, slash m I s we see who's freaking? Is it DC, Maryland or Virginia. It's always Virginia and

it's been d C for a while. But our first one up explore the potential Washington d C. Anyone female actually twenty to thirty actually seeking me explore the potential of a purely and solely physical relationship with an older man. Hit me up of a pig. Do you want the movie that dead line's from? What? Do you know what it's from? What we said like some of it? No?

Fine, no, don't google. I want to google it movie Son of a Gun? Were they built for speed? For they built for comfort? Oh? Yeah, yeah, DM, you forget that that movie a lot longer than you actually realize it because like they do that beginning part. Are not trying to spoil the movie because I want people to to either d m at mister m R E R I C K V or Andrew Hoodie with a why. What the movie is is that they do their stuff at the beginning, then they go to the house, then they leave the house. Then

there's another event, and then there's another event that we dragged. But it was fun. It was fun. It kept it kept you in, It kept you in, And I've actually seen that house could have been a wouldn't mind a sequel of that one? That cast is pretty good, But how would you make a sequel? You go to they all crash it together as a couples. You just ruined it. I didn't you. I did not anyway have her a week, and I always remember it's okay to be weird and sexy. It got weird, didn't it. Yeah,
