The only sure way to overcome doubt is to place our faith in the Word of God. We must come to a place where God's Word is more real than anything we can see, taste, hear, smell, or feel.
We say that "time is money," but the fact is that time is even more precious than money. If we really have to, we can almost always make more money however, every person is limited in the amount of time he has.
Throughout the Bible, Jesus tells his followers to give generously but why is it really better to give according to Jesus? It is because above all else, giving draws our heart to Christ.
The Bible teaches us to have a realistic view of life, others, and ourselves because attitude is our acceptance of God's law or our rejection of it. Remember that a positive mindset can truly help us succeed at life.
We do have to be aware that sin is expensive because there is always a cost and we never sin for free. God does not want us to forget the lessons we get if we harbor unfaithfulness in our relationship with the Lord.
You know, overcoming the world is about exercising dominion over the world and its systems and overcoming in every aspect of life. A mastery-over-nature orientation gives authority where it is exercised.
To subdue means to control every living thing so they fulfill the will of God, and to gain mastery over our bodies. God’s creation is destined for the whole human race but responsibilities are also given to us by God as we share in God's rule over the earth.
To replenish means to fill, and that is to multiply the grace and the blessing of God that we know in others' lives. God also wants us to be filled with his fullness both individually and collectively, as the Church of Christ.
Do you know that God wants to partner with you to multiply in every area of your life? God is in the multiplication business and it is how God intends His kingdom to function.
Are you aware of the “creation mandate” or “cultural mandate” such that we are created in God's image, thus we are to be fruitful, or creative? Your work and productivity matter to God and are profoundly important in His eyes.
When God exalt us, He not only intends for us blessings but provision and abundance as well. God planned for humanity to enjoy the beauty, abundance, and fruitfulness of His creation.
One of the lessons we can learn from Jonah is that one should not ever flee from his/her responsibilities lest one suffer the consequences. The reality is that if we seek to control God's call on our lives then we are effectively running away from Him just as Jonah did.
Are you aware that adversity is God's most effective tool for the advancement of our spiritual lives? It may be hard but suffering is part of God’s process to make us more steadfast, perfect, and complete so trust the process.
The Bible has spent a lot of time warning us not to underestimate the impact of influence on our lives. So choose to be a positive influencer everywhere you go and show the world what God is really like to other people as you would other people to be unto you.
We need to live today according to God's promises, even though we cannot see them, and not according to the temporary, random things that our eyes often focus on here on earth. This is the test of true faith.
Are you aware that the power to use words is a unique and powerful gift from God? Besides, the Creator of the universe unlocked the doors of life to humanity using words as his key, so, to this day, there is nothing we depend on more than our ability to give and receive communication.
It is not wrong to work hard and earn money because God has designed us to work. Apostle Paul even established the principle that what we reap is a reflection of what we sow and so He reminds us, that whoever multiplies his wealth by interest and profit gathers it for him who is generous to the poor.
Laziness has no place in the character of a follower of Jesus and the Bible is clear that being lazy and refusing to work is a deep spiritual problem. Nothing good is ever said about a lazy person or laziness in general but yes, we can learn from them.
Do we believe God has the purest intentions for our work and business? We must stay strong enough long enough to win in business and to aspire to live quietly, to mind our own affairs, and to work with our hands.
It is important to order our priorities correctly and then cultivate each one of them carefully and enthusiastically, according to the Word of God. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing, and distractions can easily lead your life astray.
Do you know that seeds can be planted that will produce good fruit in relationships, marriages, jobs, and in one's goals and dreams? And so, don't judge the harvest by what you reap, but by the seeds that you sow!
On looking for new opportunities in life, we should trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and not lean on our own wisdom. He will equip us with the skills, knowledge, and wisdom we need to take the necessary steps forward.
Are you aware that faith and prayer are the keys to making the impossible possible? Instead of being intimidated by a seemingly impossible situation, let it motivate you—to pray more, believe more, trust more, wait more, expect more, and depend on God more.
Our natural tendency is to fear and become anxious about change due to the feeling of not being in control of it. Well, the truth is God can use change to make a new creation and be one with Him in Spirit.
Understanding God’s purpose for money allows you to see how money relates to God's work in your life and community. God blesses His people with many resources, including money, but that blessing comes with the responsibility of using it for God's glory.
In the Bible, transformation means being changed into a new creation by the renewing of the mind. So how do we become spiritually transformed? Short answer would be by spending quality time with God.
