Ladies and gentlemen, Boys and girls, welcome to a faith break right here with Let's Get Biblical with KD podcast. Here's our host, the man himself KD. Not the man himself, that would be Jesus Christ. What's going on? Everybody? Welcome to another edition. Huh, let's get Biblical with your boy KD. What did you stumble upon? What is this faith break? Nonsense? Well, we're gonna tell you. Let's get biblical as a fun way and a unique way of looking at the Bible
using testimony, transparency and hopes of transformation. And our faith breaks are kind of like a biblical kitcat, so to speak. In your day of working, sometimes you need a little break. You gotta break off that kit cap bar, get that sugar rush in you. Well, this is the same thing. Our faith breaks are short little morsels that we break off for you that you can use throughout your day. And today I was thinking of you, guys. I'm headed to my men's coffee. Every Thursday morning, I head to
a men's meet up group through our church. It's where iron sharpens iron. And again, we should always have people in our group in circle that are maybe a little bit more ahead of us in the Bible in their walk, so they can help sharpen what you're going through as well. We're all running different races, and keep that in mind. But sometimes when we're going through those races, it gets a little mundane, boring, bland, dry, and you just don't know what to do in your walk. Sometimes you even
think God, are you even with me? But keep in mind He's always with us. And when we're going through those dry seasons, that's when we're walking through the valleys. And then the valleys is where you're going to grow the most, not at the top of a mountain hill, not sliding down a mountain hill, but right in that valley. That's where all the runoff is, that's where all the water is. That's where you flourish. You see those beautiful gardens in your life. Now, what does the Bible say
about being basic? Believe it or not, there are verses about being basic. You can go to open Bible dot info, type in any word that you're dealing with, and there's tons of verses. One of my favorites is John fourteen twenty seven. Peace I leave with you My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. The key word there is troubled. You see, we as human beings, when we're going through
let's say a dry season, we're troubled. We're bothered, we're wondering if the Lord is going to show up in our lives. Well, he's already there, but sometimes we have to have that slow, mundane process to get us through it. Not everything is going to be fast learning and fast paced right off the bat. Sometimes that spiritual fire you have in your belly is roaring. Some other times it kind of dwindles down to just some burning coals. But
don't ever let the fire die. Continue to press on, Continue read your Bible, continue to pray, Continue to go to a men's coffee or women's coffee, or a friend's coffee, or maybe a group. Just as that. So you're iron can sharpen iron. I'll leave you with this. I was watching a basketball game last night with my San Antonio Spurs. Yes I'm a Spurs fan. No booze out there needed,
matter of fact, shameless plug. Listen to our other podcasts, The San Antonio Spurs Weekly Podcast with KD little shameless plug there. I was watching coach Mitch Johnson. He was in the huddle with the Spurs and they were up by almost twenty five late in the ballgame, and he said an amazing quote that I won't ever forget. In order to win every possession, you have to go through the mundane and the boring. Do the mundane, do the boring.
In other words, it's not always about getting a block shot or a steal, the glamour of scoring or a slam dunk. Sometimes the mundane is just stopping the guy you're guarding, stopping him from making a move, making a cut that could break up that play. The mundane in boring is where we flourish. The mundane in boring will
lead us to glory in that slam dunk. For Christ, keep that in your mind as you go throughout your day that even though you may be walking through the valley of shadow of death, you will fear no man because God's right there with you and he is building you through that valley. Guys, thanks for listening to another faith break right here on. Let's get biblical with Katie. We'll see you next week with another great full episode.
Make sure you go back and listen to all our other shows as well, because we are coming fast and furious in twenty twenty six. Again. Guys, we love you, God bless you and take care.
