Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. Welcome to another edition huff Let's get Biblical with your host, a man formerly in the world of stand up comedy, an actor, and now evangelist for Christ. Harry is Welcome your host, My host, host Kat, Welcome everybody to another episode. Yes, we are filled with gifts in the month of December, aren't we. Hopefully you guys are following along with us as we are in the middle of our Biblical boot
Camp or spiritual boot Camp series. We're bringing you some great devotions from the book called the Thirty Days Spiritual boot Camp from the Grams, which is Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, and of course Will Graham. Today we have a great reading from Franklin Graham. We'll go over it, we'll discuss it, we'll have some fun in between. If this is your
first time listening to the program, welcome. We have a kind of a phrase around here for believers, non believers, white haired, long haired, white haired, wisdom, believers of faith. We dare you. We dare you to hang out with us. We dare you to grow your faith. We dare you to start your faith with us through the power of transparency, testimony,
and transformation right here on. Let's get biblical. Make sure you follow us on other social media outlets such as TikTok at, podcaster KD and on Facebook, and check us out on YouTube. Let's get right in to our workout today. What is the spiritual workout? What is a biblical workout? Katie? Well, you go into the gym, you want to get buff, you want to be healthy. You can't just sit and look at the equipment and hope that you'll look a
cert and way one day. You have to physically go through a workout and you have to do the same thing spiritually. Everybody believes that once they are saved, or once they start believing in walking in Christ, that they are good. We're good, we're protected underneath the umbrella of Christ. We are. But our own feeble human minds like to use the free will that God has given us, and we like to step out of that umbrella every once in a while and we'll get pelted with hail or
rainstorm or a tsunami. We're like, oh, you're supposed to be covering us. Well, you're supposed to stay underneath that umbrella. I'm giving you an umbrella, stay under it with me. You have to hold it. You have to walk with him as well. And this is what you're doing with the spiritual boot camps, building your faith through prayer and through reading the Bible. That is how you develop a
relationship with Jesus Christ. And let's do that today. And just like any other workout, we have a warm up, a workout, and then we conclude with a little bit of prayer. Cool down. You guys ready to rock with that? I thought, so, well, let's get right into it. We're going to be in Philippians chapter three, Verses twenty and twenty one and a writing by Franklin Graham today from the book The Thirty Day a Spiritual boot Camp. So our verse today is the following. I highlighted just the
first couple words. Our citizenship is in heaven. This is a good one today, and from it we await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like this glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. Our citizenship is in heaven. God bless that our citizenship is in heaven. Because today with our citizenship on earth. We're
ruining that with our free will. You can see that certain voting processes going on, division in our government, division in what.
We believe in.
Could you imagine if everybody lived underneath the umbrella of Christ, people say, well, if God is so real, why doesn't he do it? Now? He has a plan. He has a plan. He's not just going to jump out of a box and say hey, here I am. He's telling you he's coming. He wants you to repent, he wants you to follow him. And if everybody believed in Jesus, guess what that's called heaven? What does the workout say today?
Franklin Graham goes on and says, in virtually every sector or public life today, the versity of the relevance of the scriptures is being questioned. Absolutely, everybody's questioned in the scriptures. Scholars and thelogians constantly cast doubt, such as the state of affairs in our land, where the Pure Research Center found that fewer than half adults could name all four Gospels and only four and ten knew that job was a biblical figure known for following God in the face
of great suffering. Nearly forty percent of American adults seldom or rarely read the Bible. What a tragedy. Many years ago, when I was a young boy. Franklin goes on and says, my mother taught me the importance of memorizing key scriptures. To this day, I can recall many of them, and the promises of God's Word have sustained and guided me through the years. I love the Bible, he says. I love how the Lord speaks to my soul as I'm being in my days reading passages of Scripture. I love
to preach and transform its truths. That's why it's fervorant hope and prayer that we will have a resurgence of interest and esteem of God's Word. Amen. Right, we're seeing it right now. We're seeing it right now. We are living in the church Age. If you know anything about the Bible, and you've dug deep into the Bible, Daniel has these prophetic dreams, and there's times behind those prophetic dreams. Well, there's one thing that he could not figure out a
time in which was the church Age. We are in the church Age right now, and after the church Age is the return of Christ. And we're starting to see a resurgence in the church. We're starting to see youth out there more. My son, my eleven year old, this past month, went to a youth conference with our church. It was till midnight, so they had a party, they had a rave, they had food trucks, they had bounce houses, they had speakers, they had a hip hop Christian artists
up there. And he brought home these videos to me, and you can see this reassurgence and faith with our youth. It's amazing to see. It is so amazing to see.
I see my.
Son the next day get up early and go back to this conference for a couple hours. Then the next day he gets up and goes to church with us, sitting in the rows watching our pastor. And then later that afternoon he decides to go to his youth group where they're having a friends giving. This is the Lord showing a reassurgence in the world right now. People are always asking for miracles. This is a miracle. These are miracles.
We don't force our children. We don't force our children to say you need to go to that youth group, but you need to do this, you need to do that in the beginning, where like you should try it, go do it. Try it, Come sit in the seats with us, because you're old enough now. And sure enough he loves it. You know. In me as a father and someone that digs deep into Christ, I hope that one day that he does the same thing where he
opens the Bible and reads a little more. But I'll be honest with you with this reassertment, some of these kids today no more than I do. That's a great thing to see. And that's exactly where here what our man Franklin Graham was talking about in day five of our Spiritual boot Camp workout. We're starting to see the world start to move a new renewal, a revival movement. Us have the Bible as its centerpiece. For faith comes from hearing and hearing through the Word of Christ. Romans,
Chapter ten, verse seventeen. God saves us from sin, and he does so as the truth of God's Word is clearly proclaimed. And that is why there is no other book on earth that can even compare to this book, the inspired, infallible, inadherent Word of God. You see, even you watching a podcast or you're watching a clip that has some kind of biblical words behind it that gives you a verse. You are digging into the Word. Now on your own, you need to go off and read
that word, spend some time with him. It's like, you're coming to me and I'm telling you how great Jesus is. He's a great person for your life.
You should be friends with him too. And you're like, I'm not too sure, but the best way to get to know him is to pick up a phone call and right, But we can't do that.
The Bible is our phone and our connection to Him, and our connection to our Father in Heaven, connection to the Holy Spirit. This is an amazing thing that we're seeing in this world. But we've got to be in the Bible. So let's go into our cool down here. Let's go into our cool down. Lord, Please help me make reading my Bible a priority every day. Give me the wisdom and understanding on what to read, and guide me as I apply your truths in my life. Remind
me of the promises found in your Word. Whenever I face challenges or temptations, I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen. And that's true. We just got to stay in the Word, and we've got to love the Word and follow the word. Problem is, we don't want to. And right now we have concluded day five in our spiritual work on and I hope it's starting to work in you and I start hopefully it's starting to move
you a little bit more. And throughout the month of December, we're going to continue to go as far as we can with this. If we get up the day thirty thirty one, that's great. If not, you get an opportunity, Hey, go check out the book Thirty Day Spiritual boot Camp. I don't make any.
Proceeds from this.
This is in your local library. It's written by the Graham's Thirty Day Spiritual boot Camp, Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Will Graham. And if we don't finish in the month of December, that's okay. You guys can go check it out. You can also download it I Believe online for free, so go check it out as well.
But guys, you may be a non believer or believer today maybe a non believer, and you're.
Stuck in this all the way through. You're battling something right now, but you don't know how to come to Jesus, and you want to make a turn in your life. You want to make a change in your life, and this is that opportunity to do so, because not only is he knocking at your door, he's kind of peeking in and saying, hey, you know, my foot hurts. I have my birkenstock in the middle of this door.
This whole time, I kind of hurt. Call I'm joking.
But he's sitting there asking for you right now with his arms wide open. We talked about this in the last episode of God bay Love. Is that God bay Love is right there for you, and this is your opportunity to come to him. You may have never prayed before. This is how I tell everybody.
New and pray. Just close your eyes, be quiet for a moment. He wants us in our quiet times, free of distractions, and just pray this prayer after me. Dear God, I know I'm a sinner. I send daily and I fall short of the glory of God. Dear Lord, I want to be new. I want you to make me new again. I need you to cleanse me of my sins.
I believe that you were born, that you died, and you rose again on the third day for my victory and yours. Dear God, cleanse me of my sins, allow me to walk with you until the end of my days. Allow me to proclaim your word, your name, make me new again. Please Jesus wash me clean.
We love you, and we pray at the precious name of Jesus.
Amen.
If you prayed that prayer.
Welcome to a new start in your life. Where do you start? Well, Book Proverbs good start.
We say this every week.
We'll be saying it out throughout the month of December. Proverbs is a good start. Start in the Book of Proverbs.
Pretty easy to read.
If you have a Bible or need a Bible, there's some great Bible apps out there Openbible dot info.
You can start in the New Living Translation. It's easy to read before you jump into something like King James version. When I first was saved, I jumped right into the King James because I like trying to analyze the words. And I'm still doing it to this day while I'm in seminary school.
Again. I don't know everything. I'm a human, you know, But I do it because I want to draw closer to the Lord, not because I want more people watching, not because I want, you know, followers. I did that when I was a stand up comedian. It just kind of.
It was useless. It was useless.
For those of you watching right now, we will take your questions and we will go over it as well. Again, guys, thank you for everything that you're doing. Continue to follow Christ and he will open up your life. We pray in the precious.
Name of Jesus, do you have an amazing week and we'll see on the flip side.
God bless y'all to take care of
