Thank you guys for wherever you may be listening to us seventeen countries worldwide. We want to say hi to our friends in Tanzania, Africa, Russia, Australia, good old United States and Mexico. Guys, thank you for listening to us. And again, it's because of you that so many people are starting to listen, because you're like loving and sharing again KD with you. We've got a doozy for you. We are in the middle of our thirty days spiritual
boot camp here in December. It's a great way to get you guys going, especially with all the holidays around us. The Hubbub and we want to start our days out with just something good and positive. Well, it's based off the book by the Grahams, William Franklin and of course the legendary Billy Graham, and they give you a little bit of a warm up, which is a verse we'll go over, and we'll go over the workout, and then we'll close with some prayer, which is you know, of course,
our cool down. So hopefully you guys are enjoying the show. If you haven't got a chance to follow us on TikTok, please do at podcaster KD. We do follow for follows over there all the time. And if you are watching us live right now on TikTok, please make sure you're tapping that screen as well. But let's get right into
the warm up. We're going to be in Matthew chapter seven and verse twenty four today and again if you're a believer, believer, maybe an atheist, maybe someone with those long white haired wisdom hairs on your face and other parts of your body, yeah, we're not going to go there. But maybe you're in that walk in your life. It doesn't matter. We have a phrase around here for everybody. That phrase is I dare you, I dare you to
stick around. I dare you to grow your faith. I agree, you start your faith right here with the power of testimony, transparency, and of course in hopes of transformation. Let's go, guys, Matthew chapter seven and verse twenty four this morning, and we're in our warm up. And it states everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. You ever built a house, You ever seen
anybody built houses? You got to have a firm foundation, right, And that's the first thing we always hear when we're walking in faith. We need a firm foundation. We need concrete, we need rebar. And I'm not a big construction guy. Okay, I was a pretty good lego builder back in the day. But other than that, you know, I can't build a house without maybe chat GPT or a construct construction workers
help out there, or an architect. See. I can't even get the right words of the people building your houses, right, So I better contact someone before I try to build my own, right. But we've got to have a firm foundation, And that's what Matthew is saying here in chapter seven and verse twenty four. We got to build our foundations on the rock, because when you build it on sand, or if you build it anywhere else, just like in the Bible, it's gonna just kind of fall through. It's
not going to last. Well, what does William Graham have to say today in our workout of our thirty day spiritual Workout of Matthew Chapter seven, verse twenty four. Well he has a nice little story for us today, and he says, I have a colleague who recently built a deck on his house. He diligently figured out his budget, planned his design, ordered the lumber, and waited for the day when the truck would pull up with all these materials.
He enlisted the help of friends and family to start digging posts and holes, mix concrete, and build the frame. Everything went according to his plan until his friends had gone and he was left alone to secure the deck planks. Well, only then did he look a little more closely at the lumber, and he realized that all the wood was wet, twisted, and warped. Boards about sixteen feet long would be bent several inches in the middle. His deck was going to
be a chaotic mess. And some of you builders out there already going, oh, my goodness, he's got all these planks and they're twisted and nasty. How's he going to finish? I don't know how I would do it, But William goes on saying that a funny thing happened though. As he began to screw the boards into place, he realized that there was a lot of flexibility. Over the course of the sixteen feet He could push the pieces into place.
He could screw them in tight. Even if the board naturally wanted to bow outward, he could force it inward and secure it, and once it was secure, it would naturally conform for the rest of the deck. As you can see here, you and I are very much like these boards, according to William Franklin or William Graham, Franklin's brother. First, when we are not anchored, we are twisting and turning with no clear direction. We're like the crowd in Matthew nine,
verse thirty six. But when Jesus saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were very weary and scattered. Like sheep having no shepherd. We're hopeless and helpless, apt to follow whatever path feels right at the moment, and it can leave us literally figuratively broken. See have you ever gone your path? We talked about this on the Live a little bit earlier on TikTok. Have you ever tried to go your own way? Your
own path? What happens? Sometimes you don't always get to that finish line right, and you get so close and then the Lord's like, no, I don't want you doing that. Go take a left, take a right. Look up, you're going that way. And you're like, but I'm right. And we tend to fight, so we tend to get a little twisted, Like those boards talked about in this story were twisted and mangled. That's our soul inside, battling when
we shouldn't really be battling. When we allow Jesus to conform our paths and make our paths straight, that's when the world opens up for us. Now it's not all rainbow Sunshine's kittens, marshmallow shooting out your dairy air. It's not. When you become a christ follower, it's not. It's a little harder. So you're like, Katie, then why should I follow? Then why should I do it? Anything worth working for
is worth having? Think about it. You have a job, right, you get paid very well, maybe you don't get buried very well, and maybe you need to find a different path. Maybe have a relationship you've been sewing into for a very long time. You've worked hard at that relationship. You worked hard at that job, You worked hard at that six pack you got underneath your shirt, you worked hard at eating at Denny's. I'm kidding. It's a joke. It's a joke. It's a joke. But whatever it is, you're
working hard toward to accomplish a goal. It's worth going after. So why wouldn't you do the same with the Lord? He is your ultimate tag team partner. He is going to tag you in. He's going to do all that you do and continue to go. That's what he does. No, Gomez, I actually work from home and I run a business, so and we actually it's funny. We're commenting right now
on TikTok Live right now as well. Gomez. No, I am fortunate that the Lord has blessed me as a stand up comedian to start a business with my wife and I and we can homeschool our children. We can also bring the gospel to everybody and everywhere. That's what I'm very thankful for, especially in this week of Thanksgiving. But let's move on here in our workout, you know. William Graham goes on to saying, second, we need to be aware where our hearts are anchored and how that
affects us spiritually. Romans twelve two says, do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect for God. I love this because I try to think about this every day. I try not to conform to the ways of this world. Sometimes when I'm on TikTok Live, we have people that come into our live and have crafts comments, and I will not conform to those comments. I'll just pray for those
who just do not know you, Lord. I pray for prepare your protection. I pray for your love. I pray for your empathy to guide us and cloak us like a good father would do. Not conform to the ways of this world. This world is crazy right now. It wants you to be divided. The reason why it wants you to divide because that is the opposition. He loves
his vision and deception. But the Lord wants to make your crooked paths straight, or we could even go back to how we started this program with Matthew chapter seven, verse twenty four. Everyone, then, who hears these words of mine and does them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. So if you're conforming to the ways of the world, are you going on and building your house on rock? No, you're building according to the world. And guess what it will falter.
He goes on saying, if we claim to be followers of Jesus but are anchored to the things of this world, just like I said, we will ultimately conform to the sin which is so easily that it ensnares us, which is in Hebrews chapter twelve, verse one. But if we are anchored to the word of God, secure in his presence and in prayer, we will be transformed and renewed, conformed into him his image. Now I know what some of you guys out there are saying, Well, what is
God's image? Love, kindness, empathy, power, respect, This is God's image. We get so caught up in oh, well, did Jesus look this way and Jesus looked that way? It doesn't matter because in the Bible it says he is light and guess what, when we're up there in heaven, we are light as well. We are just cloaked in this meat carcass we call human form. But we go on to close here and he says, today, examine your own priorities and make sure that your heart is anchored in
the one who saves. As we conclude day three of our workout here on, let's get biblical of the thirty day spiritual Biblical workout or boot camp I like to call it. Let's close in a cool down in prayer. That prayer is, Dear God, we come to you in the precious name of Jesus Lord, help me anchor my heart and my mind in your world. Align my promises with your promises daily and with what you want with me.
I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. So as we got through day three here of our spiritual workout, we're going to try to bring you all thirty days, and we are up to day three here in the month of December. They're just little devotionals to get you going on with your day. If you'd like to be ahead like everybody else in the class, you can join us on TikTok At podcaster KD. And you know the great thing about this workout this morning was it had
a mixture of everything. We've got to build our foundation on the Rock, which is Jesus, not the actual Dwayne the Rock Johnson, because we don't want to smell what he's cooking anymore. We just want to want to smell what Jesus is given right. And also it goes on to not being conforming of the ways of the world, and over the next couple of days that may come up several times because that is the major foundation, is to not be conformed of the ways of this world.
And as we get ready to conclude this show, guys, I want to say thank you for listening on our podcast affiliates, whether it's Speaker, Spotify, Apple, iTunes, and more. It has been awesome here in twenty twenty five to see the response for this podcast. We're just starting things out with our podcast on TikTok, so we're starting to learn that new stream as well. But the main goal
is to keep you grounded in Christ. And these episodes are not just for you, They're for me because when I read these devotionals, it opens up my heart to God. I know I needed to hear this this morning. Hopefully you guys needed to hear this wherever you may be listening to. But maybe you're a non believer right now and you're sitting there wondering what this is all about, and you're like, Katie, I don't I just don't know. You know, I enjoy your program. I enjoy listening. I
enjoy some of the funny things you say. I enjoy some of the wisdom that you're giving. That's not my wisdom, that's the Lord's wisdom. That's from the good old bibl E the Basic Constructions before Leaving Earth Manual. And you may be sitting there like those boards we talked about in our workout today, kind of twisted and conformed, and you're starting to feel some tightening in areas that are straightening out in your life, and now you want that
full board to be straight This is your opportunity. Jesus is calling for you right now and literally knocking on the door. That's not Jesus, that was me, by the way, but you get the idea. But this is your opportunity right now. I'll ask for you. It's just to close your eyes. You may have never prayed before and it's starting to feel weird inside. Right now, You're starting to get this tingling like I don't know about this man. This is some mumbo jumbo, right well, this is not
some Hogwarts Lord of the Ring stuff. This is just the ultimate Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ, calling out to all of us right now in prayer. Open up your hands, close your eyes, bow your heads, and repeat after me, Dear God, I'm a sinner. I sin daily, and I fall short of the glory of God. I stumble. But for some reason I do not fall. I know that reason is you. I believe that you were born, that you died, and you were raised on the third day. You were raised on the third day for your victory
and mine. Dear God, wash away my sins. Cleanse me of all that I've been doing, Make me new again, Make me become a follower of Jesus. Jesus become my personal Lord and savior today, save me, cleanse me. We love you, and I will follow you to the ends of my days. Your name in the name of Jesus. Amen. If you repeated that, Welcome to the Kingdom. You are now part of a very exclusive club. You are a VIP. Where do we go from there. Well, how about open
up the Bible. I don't know how to read it, Katie. Well, guess what. Starting in January, we're going to have a boot camp on reading the Bible. But if you want to jump start, go ahead and start in the Book of Proverbs. Today is a certain day, say it's the third or the fourth. You start in that chapter of Proverbs, and then you follow it each day after that there's thirty one Proverbs almost to align with thirty one almost days and every month, and you continue to do it
over and over again. When you continue to pray and read, He'll lead you in the direction you need to go. Next. I would say, start in the book of the New Testament. You want to know who Jesus is, so why not learn from his disciples. That's the best way to do it. When you get up the Revelation, though, if you want a tiptoe through those tulips, ahead, But I'm going to tell you right now it might scare the but Jesus out of you for a little bit, and maybe that's
a good thing. But in the meantime, go to Proverbs and then start in the New Testament. Continue to support programs like this by like, loving and sharing, and also follow us on social media. Let's get biblical with Katie guys again. That concludes another day of spiritual boot Camp, Day three. Get ready for day four because we will be in that Book of Revelation until next time. Guys, God bless y'all, and welcome to the Kingdom. Take care.
