Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, definitely for children of all ages. Welcome to another edition of Let's Get Biblical with your host, a man in the entertainment realm of over fourteen years as a stand up comedian and actor now turned evangelist for Christ.

Speaker 2

Here he is your host, my host, our host, Kati. Please, thank you mister movie Phone, and thank you guys for listening to Let's Get Biblical right here on your favorite podcasting platform, whether it's Spotify, Streaker, Apple, iTunes, Google Play, and more. Thank you guys for listening to us to seventeen countries worldwide as well and seventeen podcasting platforms worldwide. Again, thank you guys for checking out another edition of Let's Get Biblical with your boy Kad. You may be wondering

what is this all about. I hear this guy with hippiie hop music on in the background. This is not very biblical. We should be learning from the Bible, and

we will be. We'll be taking good old scriptures out of the b I. B l e. The basic constructions before leaving Earth Manual, presenting them to you in a very transparent and open way in hopes of bringing transformation in your life through the power of testimony as well, and we've been studying all month long here on the show a book called the thirty Day Spiritual boot Camp, brought to you by some of the greatest evangelists in the world, the Graham Family, William Graham, Franklin Graham, and

of course the legendary Billy Graham. But before we get started into our day sixth program here on the show, I know some of y'all are like, who whoa, whoa, whohoa, whoaha. I kind of like the way this guy sounds. I like where he's headed. But I'm a non believer. I'm an atheist. Katie. Yeah, I should be shutting this off, but something's telling me to keep it on. It's okay. That's not your conscience calling. That's the Lord calling you. I know, said the word Lord.

Speaker 3

We talked about the Bible and now a Bible boot camp, and you may be shaking in those Biblical boots right now, but that's okay, because we're all going to bow before him and shake when he comes here, so we might as well get spiritually ready right right now.

Speaker 2

But we have a phrase around here for you believers, non believers, maybe white haired wisdom of faith, believers that have white hair on your hairy chin chin chin, and other parts of your body as well. We're not going to go there on this episode, by the way, nor ever, but we have a phrase for everybody, and that phrases we dare you, We dare you to stick around, We dare you to grow your faith, start your faith, reignite your faith through the power of transparency of the Bible,

testimony and transformation. Right here with your boy kd a former stand up comedian now turning evangelist for Christ and all month long here in December, we've been bringing you to a Day's Right to a day boot camps throughout the week on Mondays and Wednesdays, we've been touching on this book called The Thirty Day Spiritual boot Camp by the Franklins, and man it has been transformative, and we take the power of scripture, talk about that scripture laced

around today's world, and we also talk about what the grams say in a little story as well. So basically, you know, when you go to workout, you go into a gym, you have a warm up, you have a workout, and then you have a cool down. Right, Well, that's no different here on the show. We'll go through a warm up, which is a quick verse from the Bible.

We'll go through a workout, which is something that one of the grams have written, and we'll touch on paragraphs and add our own little Panashian, a little Dolly, a little things into it, things from your good old boy here, Katie. And then we'll cool down with some prayer. And if you guys want to check out this book, we're not going to go through all thirty one days. By the way, make sure you go and check out this book at

your local library, The thirty Day Spiritual boot Camp. It was given to me by a gentleman in my student ministry class that we go to. And yes, your boy here, Katie is studying in the world of student ministry right now, completing my courses on global university online as well digging deeper into the Lord. Who would have thought from comedian to evangelists right Well, that's why y'all are sticking around. You don't know what I'm going to say. Comedians never

know what they're going to say. Let alone have the power of Christ in their hand. Look out. But let's get things started here. In day six of our program here in December, getting you ready for your spiritual boot camp. And this is perfect timing because we know the holidays have been bestowed upon us since November with Thanksgiving. We're

starting to get a lot of pressure. We're worrying about people coming into our homes, we're worrying about providing gifts, paying our bills, and we have a lot of stress around the holidays. So why not work out that stress with another spiritual boot camp? So at ease, okay, and let's get into where warm up this morning laced around

One Peter chapter two, verse nine. Again One Peter, Chapter two, verse nine, and it states you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of Him who called you out of the darkness into his marvelous light. Let's read that again. You are chosen right off the bat. You have been chosen. You ever been sitting around going I don't know why I'm here, I don't know what my purpose is. I don't know why I'm on this earth.

What am I supposed to be doing? You're chosen, You're part of a royal priesthood, that goes all the way back to Adam and Eve in the lineage of David. That's amazing right there in itself. And you may not understand what I said if you're a non believer. David was one of the greatest kings of all time, even though he had stumbled as well in his life. We all stumble and fall order the glory of God one

of our favorite phrases here on the show. He was the reason why Jesus came around in that lineage, then Jesus came here to die on the cross for our sins. You're part of a royal priesthood, a holy nation of people. And when we start accepting that, we realize we are all together and we're not divided by a title that has been cast upon us in society. Black White, Puerto Rican Haitian non worker worker lgbtq X gets the square. It really doesn't matter. You're a part of a royal

priesthood and you are something special. So what does Will Graham have to say in the Thirty Day Spiritual boot Camp, Well, he goes on. He starts off by saying things were going wrong in his personal life. He was immersed in a society that valued everything that he stood against. He was pressured to bow down and worship that they that he knew were wrong. There was a constant temptation to succumb to the worldliness around him. Does this sound like

some of you out there today? Sound familiar? He says no, Well, I'm talking about the world we live in today. But rather a young man from the Old Testament who was captured and taken any captivity. His name was Daniel. Daniel's home of Jerusalem had been overthrown, and he had been carried off into foreign and godless land as a slave of King Nebeconezzar. He endured a re education program they

called it. Does that sound like anything today? Your kids going through school and they're re educating them, not teaching them about certain parts of history. They're re educating them, but they have certain moral values, and maybe they're growing up in the church and they're battling with their learning in school as opposed to what Israel. Daniel battled the same thing he meant. It was meant to assimilate Daniel and other young men into a culture and prep them

to serve the king. He was taught. He was taught things like astrology and magic, as well as different Babylonian languages. However, Daniel proposed in his heart This is Daniel first, chapter one, verse eight, that he would not disobey God, even in the midst of the pressure and in temptation. Because of his faithfulness and obedience to God. God gave Daniel and his friends Hanaiah, Michel, and Azraah knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had been understanding visions

through dreams. This is Daniel Chapter one, verse seventeen. You see, Daniel had been given these things by God, but the world around him was saying, I don't know about that. You need to learn this, this, this, and this. Don't worry about those mumbo jumbo things that have been given to you. This is still going onto You don't even have to be a non believer. Rutr Did you say, raydy well Scooby, I'm about to tell you. You may

be sitting there and you're a non believer. I'm talking to you about an almighty king that loves you more than anything in this world, and you're like, I don't know. I just want to stick to my conformed world that I know about. You're going through it right now too. Us believers go through it every single day. We're all in it together. Going back to One Peter, Chapter two, verse nine, you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession. Oh God,

I don't like that word possession. I'm on my own person. I'm yolo yo. It's all about me. No, it's not. It's about a greater world around you. And he has you wrapped in his arms, hugging you. It's like when you get a hug from that aunt around Christmas time and you're like, don't stop hugging me. This is weird, it feels gross. They're just trying to show you love. And this is what our amazing, grateful father is trying

to deal with you right now and me. As we go through this scripture, what else does will Graham have to say about what's going on in Daniel's life In the Bible, we fast forward to the centuries to today. You haven't been captured and carried away and throw into a far land. But the society around you, as I just spoke of, perhaps looks unfamiliar and troubling, even you non believers. It looks troubling, right, You're like, I don't know about Dad. That's crazy, that's some you know, that's

some brainwash type stuff. I used to believe that, by the way, But young people like Daniel in his day are especially being led astray and introduced by a culture that is largely opposite of the life we're being called as followers of Christ. You're being led into a world of LGBTQ. You're being led into a world where in the Bible it says a woman shall not be with a woman and a man shall not be with a man. I know you non believers out there, really just like,

how dare he? He is casting his righteous values upon us. It's not my value values, it's Godly values. And when you learn the relationship with the Lord, you're gonna feel the same convictions. You may be feeling that conviction right now. And it's okay. I'm not here to cast any magical spells on you to take you away from anything. I'm here to spread the word and the gospel of Jesus Christ and allow it to grow in your heart. He's gonna do the rest. You're going to develop a personal relationship.

I can feel it because the relationships of this world are just not working for you. He goes on, saying, with so many prevalent temptations all around us, it would be easy to assimilate and enjoy all the world has to offer. Right. We are living in a world of freedom, right. We're out there and we're having sex with this person, having sex with that person. We're enjoying the relations here.

We're enjoying the relacation there. But I don't understand why I started to get any kind of sickness in my body because I've been with that person, this person and that person. It's okay to drink and do drug. Give me that needle over there. I know it's clean. I stop there, because that's the world we're living in. We're living in a Sodom and Gomorah state right now. And if you know anything about Sodom and Gomorah, they were men were having sex with men, women were having sex

with women. They were men dressing up as women. They were enjoying the so called finer things of life. Right, But they weren't following God in this angered God, and yes, God can be angered. He is a good, good father, just like any kind of person you look up to in this world down here, they're gonna look at you once in a while and say what are you doing? And they do it out of love. Though we look when we're non believers at God when he gets angry as this casting god that hates us, he loves us.

He's looking at us, going what are you doing? I have laid out the plans before you. You just have to follow those steps and those paths through the good old Bi b A Lee, the basic constructions before leaving earth. But you're not doing it. You're not doing it because you want to do it on your own accord. Well, you wonder why that you've fallen into a ditch. You wonder why that you can't keep crawling out of that ditch, and when you do get to the top, you walk

a little bit and fall again. We can't do it on our own. God is there right now talking to you and I saying what are you doing? What are you doing? Will goes on and says, with so many prevalent temptations all around us, it would be easy to assimilate and enjoy all the world has to offer, like I just said. However, like Daniel, we must propose in our hearts to serve Jesus and him alone. And that's hard. That may be hard for somebody out there who doesn't have a mother and a father, or maybe had a

leader in their life. And it's hard for you to look at somebody like Jesus who you can't see in front of you, to be your personal lord and savior when you didn't have a leader on this earth. That should be even more of a calling for you to turn to something to help lead your life when you haven't had it here throughout your life on earth. We must feast on the things of the Lord rather than the evils of this age. There's a lot of evil

out there. We're seeing it everywhere. We're seeing it in movies such as Wicked, where you've seen the performers now that have looked very healthy now turning into these ghoulish looking characters. And you may giggle when I say that, but you can't deny their transformation. Is not of this world, and it's not of a heavenly world as either. And it's not just Wicked, it's all around us. I mean

they even called it Wicked for a reason. The music you listen to, the social media craze right now of six seven was created by a man who is not believing in God, but he believes in other dark forces. This is scary. We need to open our eyes. And he says it right there, we must feast our things of the Lord rather than the evils of this age. We're seeing the evils of this age still to this day in twenty twenty five. So how do we do that? When I want to improve my health, I not only

eat good things but stay away from the bad. It's the same thing spiritually. We talk about this on the show all the time. We must consume the Word of God and talk daily to our sustainer and prayer while pursuing righteousness and avoiding these worldly temptations. As we do, God will not only give wisdom and understanding, but I believe opportunities to share His hope with those around us. That's what William Graham closes on with our workout today.

It's a strong workout, right, but we're not done there. I want to touch on something where he says we must consume the Word of God and talk daily to him through prayer. Prayer is the key to it all. You may not know how to pray, and in the month of January, We're gonna do a spiritual boot camp again, laced around prayer. How do I pray? How do I read the Bible. We're going to start the new year off right from the beginning, and I'm gonna be right there with you. I am no greater than anybody else,

because sometimes I need to get back to basics. We forget the basic things like prayer and just opening the Bible. Then it may lead to a conviction in your heart to start finding a church that suits you, maybe a small group that suits you. There's all types of groups like that out there. I'm starting one next year just for the guys, where we get together and do manly things and then lace it around scripture. We'll watch sporting events,

We'll watch comedy shows. Yes, we can laugh and watch comedy. We'll also talk about Valentine's Day where we need to be more loving unto others. We need to be spiritual leaders in our home. There are groups like that in your area, but you have to do the work and dig to find it. We think that God has this magical genie and we can just rub this lamp and all of a sudden poof, there he is. We don't use a magical lamp. We use the power of prayer. Dear Lord, help me. I don't know how to pray.

But this guy on a podcast, this guy on social media, this guy or a woman that put up a video post that it was talking about prayer. And you're gonna start to see this come across your feed more. You're gonna see prayer. You're gonna see God and he's calling to you. He's knocking on the door waiting for you to open. But you need to sustain to going to Him through prayer. This is how we pursue righteousness and avoid worldly temptations. Will you slip into worldly temptations from

time time? Yes, I do it from time to time, But when I get into prayer, it's just something about it. Then when I get into the Word and I start studying the scriptures, even if I don't understand what they mean, at times, I'm walking with Him. And that's what you need to do. We got to try to stay away from worldly temptation and put the full armor of God on us daily. You'll hear that in your walk with Christ. Look up the full armor of God. But let's cool down.

I think we worked out hard enough right, we are on a roll. We worked out hard enough in this episode, but let's cool down with some prayer. Dear God, Lord, give me the strength to remain different from the culture I live in, and help me serve you alone. Remind me to rely on you when I face temptations and distractions. We pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen. And you know that concludes our day six of this thirty

day Spiritual boot Camp. And we're not going to get through all thirty days, but we may do it throughout the year. Highly advise you starting with books like this, easy to read, simple to start, gives you some scripture and helps you say, wow, let me dig into the Bible a little bit more. Again. It's called the Thirty Days Spiritual boot Camp by the Grams. We're bringing you the most weekend throughout the month of December on Monday and Wednesdays. We want you to get through the weekend

with prayer or maybe finding a church. Maybe you're still a non believer sitting around here not knowing. If you're a non believer and you're wondering what this is all about, and you wonder why you keep stumbling upon things of God and things of Jesus, because there's a spiritual renewing happening in this country and in this world. We're tired of the things happening. We're tired of the hate, We're

tired of the division. We're tired of seeing things on the news where this guy's doing that and this country's doing this. We want to rest in the Lord. Man. Ever since I've been resting in the Lord, I don't care about that stuff out there, and I keep my eyes focused on Jesus. I'm like, man, all right, he's coming. I know I'm saved, But what about you? Are you saved? Do you know if you're saved and if you're not saved to be caught up in the ways of the world.

You're gonna be caught up in the Book of Revelation. Don't go in there just yet. Don't go in there just yet, because your mind will be blown. You'll see that there will be wars and the speaking of wars. You will see nations coming upon nations. You will start to see famine. You'll to see this and start to see that, and you're not saved, and you're gonna be stuck in that turmoil and torment. And then when you're

not saved, you think that turmoil and torment is enough. Well, if you're not saved, you're gonna be cast into the lake of fire. Would you rather go on vacation on a beach or would you rather be thrown into a volcano? Answer that question, because this is your opportunity a plane tipic now to go to the beach. How so by turning your life over to the Lord, and I can feel it and all you have to do right now, wherever you may be, open up your arms, close your eyes,

and repeat after me. Dear God, I am a sinner. I send falls short the glory of God. But I want to sin no longer. I want to make you my personal Lord and savior. I believe you're a real that you were born, you died and raised on the third Day for your victory and mine. Dear Lord, make me new, wash me of these sins, allow me to follow you and make you my personal Lord and savior

until the end of my days. Dear Lord, I love you and thank you, and I'm just touching the tip of the iceberg with you, but please don't let me go. Dear Lord, thank you for saving my life. We pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen. If you just repeated that prayer, Welcome to the most elusive club in the world, as you now are a part of walking with Christ. You're VIP. Now what do I do, Katie, Well, jump in the Bible, Go in the Book of Proverbs.

Get yourself a book like the thirty Day Spiritual boot Camp thirty day Spiritual Workout. Start with something like that. Start with something little, a devotional where you can read just one passage a story, and then you'll open up the Bible the Proverbs chapter one and two, and three, then four, go all the way through thirty one of them, which is about thirty one days in each month. Everything is amazingly designed by Him. And then you want to

get closer to Jesus. Study about the Disciples, Matthew, Mark, loub John, study them all, Paul and the Bible. They knew who Jesus was, They know his heart and so will you. Again, guys, thanks for listening. We'll see you on the flip side Monday for another Spiritual boot Camp Day seven. Get ready, you're on fire now and you want more of that. We love you, guys. Thank you for supporting again. Make sure you like, love, and share on all social media outlets again. That's let's get biblical

with Katie. Take care, guys, God bless
