Bible Boot Camp Day 2

Over the last several years, we've gone through some transformations and hopefully you have as well, and continuing your walk with Christ. I know what you're saying. How he said the word Christ, he said evangelist, and he said God. I don't know about this podcast. I don't even know why I stumbled upon it. I'm a non believer. I'm an atheist. I'm someone just starting to walk in my faith. I don't know about this. Hey, maybe you're someone of

white haired wisdom. You got white hairs hanging down to your chinny chin chin or other areas of your body as well, and we don't want to go there on the show. Okay, family show, But we have a phrase around here for all of us, and that's I dare you. I dare you to stick around. I dare you to listen. I dare you to have fun with us. Because we're a different Bible thumping podcast. I like to take a little bit of transparency, sprinkle it with a little bit

of testimony, and then in hopes of transformation. But I'm also that guy that sits at the table and will tell it like it is very bluntly by telling you things I've gone through in life with my testimonies to back it up. So if you guys are ready to go, let's get into another episode of Let's Get Biblical with KD. It is the month of December. We started our thirty day Spiritual Bible boot Camp. Now each and every time we go on the air, we're going to try to

do a couple different devotions. We're in day two if you didn't get a chance to check out Day one, which I shared Day one and my testimony a little bit of that. We're going to be doing that the whole month of December. And it comes straight out of the book The Thirty Day Spiritual boot Camp from the Grams Franklin Graham, Will Graham, and Billy Graham. You can check it out at your local library or pick it up on Amazon. And by the way, I don't get

any residuals for that. I'm just saying I'm doing this for the goodness of God. Okay, one day crowns glory, that's all that matters. Maybe your souls I'll get to meet up there as well. Today we are in day two. We are in the Book of Romans chapter twelve, verse two, and we wrap it around scripture. This is what I do.

I take scripture, I talk a little bit. I wrap it around my life, your life, and the collective world around us to make sense of it all and hopefully you'll be able to use it in your life as well. But one of my favorite verses in the Bible is Romans chapter twelve, verse two. And just like any other boot camp, we've got to start with a warm up, then a workout, and then we'll close by cooling down

with some prayer. So let's start with that warm up verse today, do not be conformed by this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you you may discern what is the will of God and what is good and acceptable. Imperfect one of my favorite phrases in the Bible, because every single day we're wrapped around things that are trying to conform us to the world, whether it's things in the news, whether it's things in the media, whether it's music, television, cartoons.

Now for our children, we're starting to see things that are trying to transform your children. And the reason is this is not our world. We are pillars of light, and we are aliens of this world. Everybody talks about aliens, we're the aliens on a foreign planet because one day we're going to be in heaven with the Lord. I know, I just confused. Some of you non believers out there, atheists are scoffing at me right now, But stay tuned

and listen for more. We are not of this world because when Lucifer was sent down to this earth, this is his playground. He was a minister of darkness. He was a minister of the musical realm in heaven. Believe it or not, he was a worship leader. Let that sink in for a second. What conforms you what changes you music, It has since the test of time. Drum beats from rhythmic Indian platforms like Aztec Iron, so on and so forth. That's where it started, the drum beats

in Africa. This drum beats right. Then all of a sudden, it starts out innocent. Then you've get some that are a little darker and they start to sprinkle their stuff in and they sprinkle words. Now, words that are being said over and over again that become rituals. I know that's another show for another time. But the devil knows what he's doing. And I know what you're saying, Well,

why would the Lord allow it? The Lord will allow it because he knows we have the strength to come to him for the power of Jesus Christ to defeat it in our lives. So with that being said, is long story show more than anything right right there? Do not be conformed to the ways of this world. We're seeing patterns daily, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Well what's the workout say today? Well, from Franklin Graham, here's what he says about Romans twelve, chapter two.

In our lives today, an individual with a biblical worldview looks at the world and sifts through all the information through God's lenses or God's word. That's what we do, just like I'm giving to you today. I take a topic, look at, pray on it, look for versus in the Bible that compare to it, and then deliver it. I don't jump right into it. I don't jump into something

I don't know or don't understand. Scripture informs his thinking and behavior, guiding his intellect and moral determinations, not our own. The Bible is the bedreck that undergrids his entire life. The secular worldview dismisses God as irrelevant in the affairs of get this men, Government views on critical moral issues, such as independent from God's moral character and principles. We see this happening right now, wars and rumors of war talked about in the Bible as well. We are in

the Church age. We're starting to see what Daniel didn't get a chance to see in his prophetic dreams. We are in the Church age, and with that being said, were allowing government to manipulate us. Yes, we render unto Caesar, but render unto God. What is God's as well? And that is your soul. We still need to support our governments in order to live, but to live freely we

support and surrender our lives to Jesus Christ. Clear definitions of right and wrong are impossible to determine over and against every competiting worldview, the Bible forcefully declares, do not be conformed of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind Romans, Chapter twelve, verse two. In other words, the only way to see all of this

life accurately is through the transforming lens of Scripture. The Bible worldview says there is a God, one who is personal, powerful and caring, who created the world and everything in it. Mankind says born and unborn, rich and n poor, able and disabled, and intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign god, ruler over all nations, states, empires, governments. He is to be worship and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed

in his unfallible Word. You see, as long as you stay close to scripture, and you obey and worship and follow the Lord, you are going to be okay. And you're gonna be looking through his lenses at all this stuff that's going on in the world. I used to get caught up, and who am I going to vote for it? If I don't vote for this person, are we goin to move into another country? Because the world's falling apart. The Western world doesn't know what's going on.

All these things are what the devil wants you to think, and here he wants to confuse you and cause disruption in your life, even on a political level, even on a well, my kid says that he wants to be a girl, and he's a boy, and a boy wants to be a girl, and the girl wants to be a giraffe and wants to be a kitten, and all these are confusional tactics of of the enemy. But when the wall is pulled over our eyes, we don't see. But when we have the lenses of God on, we

can see right through it. Franklin Graham goes on to say, the biblical worldview also asserts and exists and the reality of sin and evil. So let me repeat that the Biblical worldview also asserts the existence sorry the existence and reality of sin and evil. That's what we live in right now. All have sin and fall short of the

glory of God. We say this daily on the show Romans, Chapter three, Verse twenty three, War, disease, violence, injustice, Mirara out of problems that beset the world are result of man's rebellion against God. Any attempt to create a utopian society one world, one world, nation, one religion as proposed in Revelation. Keep that in mind to permanently solve global problems.

As doomed to fail for now, but one day, as the Bible says, the Lord Jesus Christ will triumphantly return, gathering as saints, all will rule with him in a new heaven, new earth. There will be no more sickness, death, disease, violence for our enemies, those will be cast into an eternal lake of fire, and sin will be no more. Revelation twenty ten. I want to break that down real quick before we go into our prayer and cool down from our day too, of our biblical workout here on.

Let's get biblical. Which one sounds better? Hey, you want to go to the Caribbean or nice beach this weekend? The weather is supposed to be perfect, the water's clear, no sharks, the food is fresh, the fruit is fresh. You can enjoy a walk on the beach. It's just going to be wonderful. Or do you want to go just go ahead and jump in a volcano. I joke, but I'm being serious. Which one sounds better? That is basically what's being said in Revelation Chapter twenty, verse ten.

There will be a new heaven and a new earth here no sickness, no pain, no hurt. But our enemies who do not know the Lord will be cast into a lake of fire. Huh Hey, yeah, honey, why don't you book that flight to Hawaiian and we'll just go jump in a volcano. I've never heard anybody say that. Okay, no, book that flight to Tahiti. Let's go, let's go, Let's be in paradise. And you can be in paradise one day, as long as you follow, obey, worship the Lord, and

for your new believers. I understand that's hard for you to understand. We don't like words like slavery, omission, worship, obeyed. You want to steal yolo, Yo, we get it. I live my own life. I get it. But man, it's so much a better life when you can just let go of everything and let Lord cast all your cares upon him. It's amazing. In closing, he says, this is the only worldview that sees clearly and rightly in the eyes of God, causing the heart to rejoice for an attornity.

Guys, Dear God, I come to you in the precious name of Jesus, in the Holy Spirit, Lord, transform me and make my mind new as you wash it by your word. Help me see through life and through the lenses that you've given me through scripture, and give me the power to live each day in obedience to do in Jesus' name. I pray Amen. Now you may have sat through the whole show, right, we appreciate that. We love you, God

bless you. There's a reason why you sat through the show. There's a reason why you stick around. Reason why you're starting to feel like a fiery itch like maybe angry toward me or angry toward the Lord, because your soul's starting to transform, starting to transform, to find that light to burst out of your body. All you have to do is just close your eyes, open your hands, make those palms open to heaven like someone's going to put their hands on top of yours, and just hold them.

If you feel the need to outretch your arms really high, you can do that too, like you're reaching for somebody. That somebody is Jesus. You're reaching toward, and just repeat after me. Dear God. I know I'm a sinner. I send daily and fall short of the glory of God. But I know that you can make me new again. Dear Lord, I give my life over to you. Please be my personal Lord and savior. I believe you were born, I believe you died. I believe you rose again on

the third day for my victory and yours. Dear Lord, wash me clean of these sins. Dear Lord, allow me to walk with you to the end of my days. Make me new again and become my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, we pray Amen. That's simple. Welcome to the most exclusive club in the world. You're a VIP, now, so what do you do? Open up that Bible, find a good church, find a church that suits you. Go to the church for the word, not for the values. They are kicking out as far as money and this,

that and the other thing. Let the word speak to you. Find someone that speaks the word. So into a small group you can talk to somebody, get with others. But start in the Book of Proverbs right now, whatever today's date is, you start in that chapter and then go on each and every other day. It's thirty one Proverbs in the Bible, almost thirty one days and every month. Isn't that a coincidence. No, that's God. He knows what he's doing, the author of your life, and thank you
