Stop Ignoring The Proof That ANYTHING Is Possible

We , you know that's not realistic , that you know , you know that that's not possible for me or for you , we can't , people like us , et cetera , et cetera . We ignore the proof all around us that anything is possible at any

time . It's true , our brains are wired to fight for familiarity because it feels safe , comfort , safety , familiarity . But that is not what we are built for , my friends . And there is proof around us all of the time , every day . Look up , look at an airplane , look at a high rise . I mean , go on some major superhighway .

There are so many in America , so much is possible that we only normalize in hindsight . So looking back , we're like oh yeah , of course , that's obvious . That was a natural next step . There's nothing impressive or cool or spectacular about that .

But at the time the people who thought about it or wanted to do it or create it , they were considered crazy , mental mad . When I was growing up in England , the Eurostar was new , connecting England and France .

It was like connecting England to the continent , the European continent an underwater tunnel that allows you to drive from Dover in England to Calais in France . In fact , one time , when I was a school kid , we had a day trip . My family at one point lived in Kent , which is Southeast England . We had a day trip to Paris .

It was a long day , but I remember my friends , my friends' parents , who had money . They would sometimes just drive to France to buy their wine and then come back

right . The Eurostar , that underground tunnel was considered this majesty , this piece of art , this like really revolutionary thing . That now is just boring old news . People catch the Eurostar for meetings , eurostar , eurostar no one cares anymore . No one's impressed . We've progressed a lot . Yes , people are going to space . We see it . Do you ?

Can you tap into the reality and proof that impossible is really a judgment , an opinion , and a small-minded one at that . Proof is everywhere . I live on the 74th floor of a building . I mean . My mom , who's 82 , still can't believe that . She's nervous . She thinks , you know , is the building safe ? What happens when ? What happens when ? And a building ?

I mean tall buildings , aren't even new . What is it that you want to create , what is it that you have a dream of ? What is it that you think I would love to ? And then you add the but and you completely negate the first half , the most important part , the passion , the desire , the dream that is calling you .

You know , I would say that my trust and knowledge that impossible is just an idea that some people have , but I , you know , I I not always , but I I generally don't have . I can credit everything I've ever wanted to this . Anything's possible . You know , coming to New York even without a college education , working in the tech

sector , making $500,000 at the age of 30 . What I would do is I would spend time reading about these huge success stories who didn't follow a traditional path . Proof , it's possible If someone else can do it . They're a human being , just like you . What does that tell you ? Right , once , climbing Everest seemed impossible .

Having electric cars seemed like oh , that's like really futuristic and weird . And sometimes you see these Uber trucks . I do think they look a bit weird , but look , they exist . It's all just common use now . It's all just reality . Now and in hindsight , everything is normalized , but in the moment it feels dangerous , drastic , scary . We're told .

We're big dreamers . My least favorite word ever is realistic . Who gets to define that ? Isn't that hugely subjective ? What's realistic , what can be ? I'm sorry , I think only God can decide that . And why are us , his humble servants here , just like , ah well , yeah , I don't know . Let me check the data and statistics decide that .

If we open our eyes , anything is possible . Look at what human beings have created , even in just the last 100 years that rapid rate of progress . Whatever it is that you want , if we lost that . But if we lost that , oh , but I need to consider , or let me crowdsource information on this . Let me do the research .

Research is great , it's one thing , but your dream , your desire , it needs to come through you . And it can't when we are blocked . And my quickest way to get unblocked is to seek the proof all around me that many things outside of many people's opinions , judgments , thoughts , capacity to even dream .
