What's going on guys? You see boy easy bus, and we're back with another episode of legit Check, the best fashion sneakers podcast in the world, self proclaimed obviously, today I'm with my good friend Eric A K a Service by E. UM. I've known him for three or four years now and he keeps killing it, so I had to have him on the podcast to talk about a little bit about what he does. So, man, thank you, thank you for having me. Of course, why don't you
introduce yourself, tell us a little bit about what you do. UM, where you're from, where we at right now? Uh So, as you said, I am a service by E I customize a luxury goods. So so for everyone who's listening, UM, basically you get some of the most expensive, most sought after, like really cool whatever you want to call it, like design your bags or designer wallets or whatever. Pretty much designed it, and he a little bit more than just
your own touch. It's just basically whatever thing you've ever whatever image or um you've ever felt like you wanted on anything, you can recreate almost perfectly in my opinion. Thank you, You're welcome, bro. The compliment. But yeah, to sum it all up, that's pretty much what I do. Yeah, that's awesome, man, Like, so how did it all start? Like when did you first decide to, you know what, I'm just gonna ruin this bag by painting on it.
I mean it kind of just totally joking, by the way, but it kind of it was kind of left field. I was in San Francisco and I was with a buddy of mine who just had like a massive collection of go yard at the time, and he was just like he was messing around with like a lop like a laptop case and he had like a sharpie. He was just kind of like writing like random scribbles on it. And I was going to catch a flight to l A in like two hours, and I was like, Hey, I should take that back to l A with me.
I'll try to paint on it if you want, you know, mess around if you don't care to mess it up, and I'll send it back to you. And I did that and I sent it back in like a week and a half and he was just mind blown. He was just just he was like, bro, this is so good. And I'm like, yeah, I guess so. And he was like, Yo, you can make money off of this. And at the time, it didn't really click on my head. I was like, yeah, you're crazy, Like who would pay me to paint expensive
you know, stuff like this. So he was like, yo, started Instagram, you know, um, I'll help you like do like a couple like you know, promos or whatever. He wasn't big on Instagram, but he had more followers than me at the time, and I was like, all right, cool. So we did that and literally it was just like a snowball effect, like we posted one photo and it kind of just went viral for no reason. I think.
I think we tagged a big like a big watch, uh I G And they reposted it and it got like crazy likes overnight, like and then the DM started coming in and then I just it was just all history from there. It came kind of like really left field for me too. I didn't really think it would be what it is now. You know, like there's that community out there that really loves like d I Y, like gritty, uh just just anything you could think of.
They were like, Yo, I'm down, Like we'll put a bunch of like vulgar like words on like go yard or Louis. I'm like, damn, this is crazy. So uh yeah, it was kind of it was kind of it took me back a little bit to know that this would be what it is now. That's awesome. I'm thankful for so for everyone who doesn't know what Goyard is a very expensive French uh bag. I think they started making luggage and they're very, very very sought after. Um in
the US, it's kind of hard to get. It's a lot more expensive out here than it is in Europe. But it's like what everybody's wearing, like every rapper, Like I think asap Rocky was kind of like one of the first guys who really made it cool because everyone
was around Louis at the time. Yeah yeah, but I mean the pioneers I think were like Kanye, Yeah, of course, Loupe Um and I never owned a yard because it was just so expensive, you know, but it was I was just like, whoa, Like, this guy has a crazy collection.
He just wants me to go crazy on so so, so you said that he was scribbling on on a laptop case with the sharpie he was we were sitting, we were sitting in his living room and he was just I was like on my phone and I look over and he was just like going in with a silver sharpie on I don't know what he was writing, like peace signs, like random stuff, and I'm like, dude, I know that's expensive. And he was like yeah. I go like and I'm like all right, yeah. Um. I
was like I took art. I took a couple of art classes. Let me, let me try to paint it, and then there it is. So what made you so drawn to art? Like, were you always like drawing on things when you're younger? This was I think I started painting painting like the fourth grade, third fourth grade, but I started, uh, started with graffiti. That was like my that was like that, that's the thing that popped my cherry. I was like, yo, look at the colors, the you know,
the lines, the all that, um, the letters. So I started with graffiti, uh, and then I just kind of just stuck to that until like middle school, and then my mom was like you need to stop doing this and go into like oil painting and all that. So I did classes in middle school and then I fell out, and then high school rolled around. I did art ap art. I just wasn't it wasn't like like motivated, you know,
it was just like painting like oranges or whatever. And you know these kids would they took this serious and I was just like, dude, this is boring to me. I mean I I passed the class, you know what I mean? I think I bees in both both years. Um, but art has always I've always painted, I've always drawn, so you know this is it kind of worked out in my favor a little bit. Well, obviously you're extremely talented.
And for everybody who's like, um, not watching and if you guys are just listening, we have a few pieces on the table, uh, one of which being hey, um, so this is a good yard. What is this a passport holder? So it's a passport holder and it's a superman holding up a black card. Is this something that you thought of or is this something that your clients
thought of? Um? Someone was like, oh man, I want I want like a superman holding some type of like significant uh, you know, just the image that represents like ultimate like f you with money. So I was like, you know what black hard? Oh yeah, big time. I was like, I painted on there so hopefully you know, hope he has a black card. H Well, I mean there should be a black card in the passport holder itself. So that's that's super dope. And like the detail on
this is insane. I mean it looks it looks as if it was like printed on here, but you hand painted this, so obviously you know, getting a b in uh ap art or whatever doesn't necessarily mean you know this is like this is like super easy, you know what I mean, Like it gets like once we get to like portraits and stuff, then I'm like, all right, I gotta like take my time and do all that. But like pop art and like all these like cartoon images,
just it's easy. So like something that the other passport holder, um you brought in has a g wagon on it. Hopefully that guy has a g wagon as well. Otherwise he just flex in the passport holder, right yeah right, I mean it, Shoot, he has a passport, he has to have the g wagon of course. Yeah, he's a four by four g wagon on there. This was pretty cool. I like, I like this, this was this was pretty pretty simple and easy for me to execute. That's crazy, man,
Like the detail on this is is nuts. I don't even know how you're able to like paint such small lines. Everyone says that, but I feel like it's not that time. I mean maybe those lines, but like in general, like bro, and are you painting with like a strand of hair or something like? How do you one strand of hair on this brush? It's just one strand? Yes, it must be some magic hair because clearly you know it's creating some really really beautiful art. And I mean on the bag,
what do you got there? You got like Richie rich and he's saying, I have a big problem. I'm spending too much money. Wow. And he's writing, ah, he's writing a plane with a bunch of money falling out of it. That is so fire man. So how long how long would it take for you to paint something like that? It's a defel bag. I think that took me a two hours? Two hours for real, that's it. Yeah, I mean the longest, longest part about that is letting the
paint dry. Okay, makes sense? So do you watch it dry? No? I tried to like speed the process up. I'll use like a blow dryer. Okay, you know, but that's crazy. Only two hours? And so do you The passport only took me fifteen that's this took I'm just kidding that it took me about like the same. It took me about the same. There's more shading and everything in this,
so like explain explaining me the process. So, um, if let's say I was like, Yo, I want you to paint Dumbo on my card holder, what would the process be after that? What do you mean the process like as far as do you stencil at first? Do you like or do you just like go in on the
on the oh secret process, secret secret process? Um? No, Uh, what I do is, yeah, it's all free handed unless I know the image is like super like hard, then I'll try to find like, um, the outline of of you know, what I could work with, like as far as like a portrait or something, so I know it's not unproportionate, you know what I mean? Is that the word? Um? So I know I don't mess it up completely because I mean I only get one shot and I think I don't think I've ever messed up a piece out
of all the pieces I painted. That was definitely gonna be a question that I was gonna ask that I don't I've never bro that. That's why you get paid the big bucks. Yeah, that's why he's so rich. That's what wish I wish so, um, that's crazy, man, I mean that was definitely something I wanted to ask because it's like you never know, you know, like what if your hand accidentally slips and there's like a red mark or something that's never happened. I mean, I wouldn't even
know what to do. So when you when you start painting something or are you just completely just lock all the doors, just turn the lights down load and just kind of like get in the zone completely. Not not really, Um, I do I like to put on I like to put on I like to put on like a movie or something just in the background just so like I don't it's not I don't really do like music sometimes because you know, depending on the mood. But I like to just put on a movie so I could just
you know, hear it. And I like to be by myself, um, in the studio and uh that'll set the mood, you know. And then just I have like a couple of lights on the table, one one top light. It's about it. Yeah, I'll like burn some like sage or something, so you really get in the zone, though, you have to have like a hundred and ten percent focus when you know.
Sometimes I like to get really drunk, just be like, man, I wonder how good I really am for real, and just go in wow, yeah, man, Like I mean, clearly you have a I can't even tell if you've been thank God, because I imagine just like I just like to crack open and just drink the whole thing, just drink the whole thing and just just roll the dice and be like, let's do it. Yeah, man, that would
be crazy. I would have I would have called you a madman, and I would have never let you touch any And if I was like you would have, I was like, honestly, I'm so good. I like to blindfold myself sometimes, right and just just start painting. At that point, I would just think that you're like a demon or something that you could just like see through the blindfold, because this is a second that incredible. But so um.
Another question I have for you, since I am easy bust, huh, and I deal with like you know, real and fakes you do? Yeah, you know. It's it's a little part of what shoes. I don't even know what sneakers are. To be honest, I wear flip flops, but I'm wearing some fake shoes or too so just going off that tangent um, have anybody ever asked you to paint on anything fake? Never? But have you ever been like, oh, you know what, this looks kind of gazy or just
super old? But now never, like I could. I've seen a lot of goyard of my time where I'm just like, I know, but someone has sent me something like to legit check and I you know, that's where my easy buster came out. It was like, yo, bro, this isn't verified. Yeah. I had to cut the card holder in half. Yeah, and I sent him back a real one really. Yeah. It was a little used though, but it's better than
what he had. Wow, that's crazy. But like you've never been like, oh, ship, this person is paying me big money and he wants me to paint something fake. No? No, well normally the people who have the big money don't have anything. Yeah, I mean I've been asked to paint like heauld be like weird and he paint like Polo mm hmm, or like you know, like lesser tier. Yeah. Yeah, that was also going to be another question I had for you, like do you only accept working on things
like go yard and painting on anything? Honestly? But Um, it's just if it's if it's doable or not. Like if I if the polo, I didn't take it because I forgot what kind of like material is made out of, you know what I mean. But um, I've been on a lot of stuff that isn't like top tier you know. Um, but I don't paint on shoes. Um, you've never done a shoe huh. I think I did a lubaton once for a buddy initials. But I just I don't like painting like onlike air forces and veins and stuff like
myself included. I don't really like custom sneakers in my opinion, I'm not crazy about it. It's a it's a big community and you know what I mean, that's cool. No, but it's just that's just something I just that's I knew. I just wouldn't want to go down I feel you you know what I mean. Of course, if I pulled up on you, it's some like air forces and I just had a bunch of like LV Supreme, you know what I mean, like red all over it. You'd be
like that's whack. Yeah, that's not that's not the real thing. Yeah exactly, you know what I mean. Like, but I mean some of the stuff is kind of cool though, you know, like the portraits that people do. But it's just I'm not trying to like be like, oh I'm too good for that. It's just something that you know, it's never really interested me. Yea interested me, I'm interested.
So um, with that said, like you just wanna just kind of stick with just like bags and and like wallets and card holders and stuff like that for now. But have you ever thought about painting like a canvas and like crazy crazy, I'm doing a canvas right now. That's ten ft long, I feet high? Geez, ten ten ft long? Bro? Yeah? Yeah, So what are you doing that for? Is that something that's top secret? You can't it's not top secret. It's he's just a little private.
But you know, um, this is a good friend of mine paying me a bag to to do this, so you know it's it's something. It's something sick, which I think I'm gonna post. It's not something I'm gonna keep private it. You know, he's down, he's gonna let me like post it. But um, as far as like you know who it's for, yeah, I feel you know, I mean, trust me, I'm like I'm I'm in the industry too, I know. But how, um, like, are you excited to
do that? Because it's a little bit different than what you normally do, because I don't think I've ever seen you do an actual like like like a painting on something that's not I mean, I'm pretty excited. Is just it's just a different medium, you know, Like my canvas is usually like expensive stuff. So it's like with the regular campus, I wouldn't be as scared to like just go in. Yeah you know what I mean, because I'm
just like, brosis't you know, it's like can always fix this? Yeah, you know, this isn't like something super delicate, but yeah, I'm pretty excited. It's it's gonna be it's gonna be a good one. He's it's gonna be like vibrant colors. I'm doing like a big Hollywood um Hollywood sign, and then behind it, I'm gonna do like a golden gate bridge because he just moved here from San Francisco. Yeah, um, that's fire. I'm excited to see that. You gotta send
me a picture of It's crazy. It's it's wild. So I have to like rent like a U haul to like transfer to drop it off. Yeah, well, I mean, um, how long do you think that's gonna take you? It's definitely not gonna be a two hour job. Probably probably four really, that dogs like two weeks because I mean I don't I don't take in a lot of orders like that as it is. I just I'm very like it's kind of like honestly, I'm private with it, like I only do like referrals now. I don't really take
a new clients like that. I feel you it's weird. I mean, I mean, that's the way you should keep it, you know. I was just like, what, I don't have any new clients. It's just like the same, like we're currently hey, this so and so wants to get and then then and I go and meet up with them. They're like, hey, so I have like seven pieces, you know. I'm like, damn, I'm gonna be busy for like a
whole like week and a half. So, um, i've known you since is that when we met through a mutual friend And to this day, I can never tell if you're serious or not. That's good, it's good. That's a good train. Bro. You got me like three times already, and you want to play poker after this. No, not with you. I feel like you have a crazy poker face. Okay, you win a right, you win? That's it. Do you receive hate from from brands for what you do? Because I know that you told me you were a banned
from a couple of stores. Banned from a couple of stores. And if that girl that banned me is watching, we're just gonna give her a look. Yeah, I can't say, don't you know what I mean to be respectful, but yeah, I am banned from UH. I'm not banned from Louis, but I am banned from Goyard. Yeah. Well because in the Louis Vuitton store, they actually have someone in there
that like paints at certain shops. So do you think that they don't mind what you do or do you think that they're Yeah, I think they're a little bit more open, you know what I mean, and they embrace it. Um. But I know they can't, like, you know, necessarily paint certain images because of you know, the galley with the company and all that. Of course saying um, but I've I painted a couple of things and I went to UH.
I went to a an event for Wonder Woman and the people that represented like Disney or did like the licensing for Disney and like Warner Brothers were there. So I met I met a couple of ladies and they love what I do. And I had to just rub show there, don't be cool, just so I don't get
hit with you know, Yeah, I'll see you in court. Yeah, exactly, exactly. Well, I mean, are there any rules to that, Like, I mean, unless I'm painting like a million mickeys into making like fifteen million dollars off of Disney characters, and yeah, I think so. But it's like one off. It's like, I mean, if you want to come after me over like six hundred bucks, that's fine, you know, but venmo you if
you want. But I mean, like it's interesting because you know, cause which is one of the biggest artists in the world right now. He's killing it. Bro Like, if you think about it, most of his pieces are just Mickey Mouse with a different head. He's spin offside. I like how he adds his touch to like I loved his like poster ad and so you know what I mean, those are yo, and I think that's like my thing.
It's like, you know, I saw this window, this opportunity to be like, yeah, I'm gonna capitalize on on like adding stuff to art already, this is art in itself. I wouldn't want to paint on a five thousand all the Duffel Bag or seven thousand all the Duffel Bag. Yeah, no,
of course here I am. So do you think so you you actually can get in trouble for something like that, even if like it's like a custom piece, you know, I mean there's so many ways it plays out, bro, Like, like realistically, if they wanted to get really down to it.
I remember at a meeting and they were like, honestly, the person that paid for you to do the job can actually get in trouble as well, because you know they're they're they're like, uh, accessory to it, but it's like they're the ones that's having me do it, you know what I mean, I'm just like the middle man realistically. But bro, if I buy this, technically, I should be
able to do whatever I want with it, right. But you know if you paint on go yard and you bring it back to the going start, they going that yets counterfeit even though it's real. Yeah, if you try to get like touched up or glaze or something. Wow, so my wallet's screwed. Yeah, so this is all fake. This is all about to be busted. It's gonna end up on my Instagram in two hours. But wow, that's crazy.
So I mean, I know Goyard is a little more uptight as a brand and total because like I've I've heard so many different things about them, But um, I know Louie is a little bit more fluid, you know, man, I love Louis. It's harder to paint though. Man, that's weird. So like do you have um, I don't think you do this, but like, have you ever just gone to go yard bought like ten things and then sold them
off individually? Or is the bulk of your work? I know the bulk of York is this, but like somebody coming to I just bought this, I want you to
paint it for me. In the beginning, it was like that I was obviously I was in there like literally every two three days really like they were like oh yeah cool, and then like you know, like six months ago buy and there like hold on, anyway, look at this guy's account and I have like you know, there be like this guy's button so much go you are in the past like six months when realistically you can only buy like three small items or whatever every six months,
and I was buying like two three wallets every like two or three days. Why they have a policy on how much you can buy. Yeah, I mean just like anybody like air mish, you know, like you can't buy like, you know, certain certain pieces. See I don't shop at those stores enough to know that, but you do because because you're rich. But you know. But yeah, that's crazy. That was like, that was like a big thing. And um, I'd start finding other ways to get go yard, you know, yeah,
which is a big hassle. Yeah, that's interesting. Wow, that's that's crazy. I didn't know it was like that intense. I thought, you know, the next time, I'm going to send you in to go Yard, and then you should I wear the mask? You know that you'd probably scare some people in there. I think they'll probably kicked me out right away. So, um, what's what's been like your favorite your favorite piece you've ever done? Um, it has to be that shark mouth on the Duffel bags. So
you're the one who pioneered that. I'm ana come clean. I don't want to say that, I feel like I feel like someone might have done it, but I just kept eyes on it. Bro, I've never seen anyone do that beside but I was. I did that. The first time I did that was twenty four on a Duffel bag. Is that something everywhere? It's crazy, like I see spray ground do it like everybody? You know what I mean? The other like other painters out there, which is flattering,
you know what I mean? Thank you? But yeah, so who did you do the first one? For? Was it just like a homie San Francisco, same dude. Yeah, he was just and he was like, yeah, take this, take that. And I'm like, all right, cool, that's fire. So what did you get inspired by it? Like an old fighter jet?
Or like, so, my my great grandfather was in uh World War two in the Philippines and there was a picture that I found and he had a he took a picture, um and it was it was like a couple of planes and one of the planes had that on there. Well, I was just I was like, that's so tight. And then I told my boy and was he know, you should you should try to paint that on the Duffel bag. So I just fire. Yeah, I kind of just winged it super fire. Bro. To this day,
we're like, oh, why do you is a babe. I'm like, bro, you're such a high piast. It's not even the same design at all. This it's completely different, Babe. I was gonna ask, like, maybe that was some because I knew it's because I've seen that on like fighter planes before, So that was my first idea. But that's such a weird, Like, no, it really happened like that, you know what I mean. It was like through my great grandfather. Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah,
that's such a cool story. So um, when so you said that the same person who bought the giant Um canvas that he was like one of the first people you've ever worked with technically, right, So this the canvas is for someone else from San Francisco, Okay, so what would you say? It's been like your craziest experience with the client, Like you don't have to name exactly who it is, but it's if you wanna, um, craziest story. So this, Uh, they didn't even email me, They just
had my number. Someone reached out to me, Hey, um, someone else is gonna text you. And then from there someone else is gonna text you, and I'm like, okay. It turns out this um I have the same names, but it's it was. It was a a royal family out in, you know, and they were like, hey, we're looking to get some things done. I was like, all right, cool, you know, like what are we doing. They're like, yeah, we want to get fifteen items done and I'm like fifteen.
I'm like, okay, fifteen mos an handle that and the yeah we want to get like h we want to get I think we want to get like four Duffel bags, four backpacks, a briefcase, like a bunch of a bunch of crazy stuff. And I'm like, damn, like who's this? Who's this for? So they literally wired money, so we bought, we bought think we bought thirty thousand dollars worth the goyard and then we spent another like twenty or fifteen thousand at at at Louis and um um. So they
wired all this money. They flew a guy out here to stay in l a for like I think like two weeks. Well I finished the pieces and then literally just gave me like a lot of cash. Wow. Yeah, this dude was I was like, oh, so, like you know who's like they told me who was four? But it was crazy, like the process of like I had to go to go Yard and I had to go to Louis and they're looking at me like, yo, what
the hell? Like you know that the wires are hitting and I'm like yeah, I mean, but you know, I mean it doesn't sound crazy because this happens all the time. We just don't hear about it. But it was like it was kind of I was taken back because it was such a long time and I'm like, I'm a kid, you know what I mean, Like I won't be here asking for like thirty thousand I was worth of Louis. They're like, I mean I respect to Louis Louise a
little bit cheaper than go Yard. You know. I think I bought we bought three items at go Yard and that was already like twenty some thousand, twenty thousand something like that, and then um and I was like, damn, we're spending bread at Louis And it would take me like the v I P room and like, you know, can we help you take all these to the car? What I'm like, dude, I have to call like a uber suv or something to bring this back. It's not gonna fit my car. You're gonna need like an arm
word vehicle for that much stuff. Honestly. Yeah, And you know, Eric's being really uh modest here. But I've seen some of the people you've worked with. It's like from all the public images that I've seen, and it's it's all that people see the people like, oh that's yeah, I know. Like I just can't post some of the you know, celebrities or the families I work for, you know what I mean. And people are like, oh, you're not working. I'm like, no, I'm just I just don't have time
to post, you know what I mean. I wish I would post more. I wish I could be more, you know, put out more concept. But some of the stuff I
just can't put out, you know what I mean. So from what the one from the ones that you can put out, what would you say have been like some of your biggest clients biggest biggest isn't like you know what I mean, Like there's there's just you know what I mean, Like the biggest to me, it just means like something like completely different, Like you know what I mean like they're just like a good, warm hearted person, like man John Mayer, which is a good friend of
mine now John Mayor, He's he's my guy, dude, so down on earth, he's so artistic, um, and he his attention to details just crazy. Bro. Really yeah, I felt with him heavy. Yeah, man, I'm I'm a I'm like I've been a fan of his music since I was a kid. So I've heard a lot of great things about him. Like one of my good friends, Keegan is also tight with him because he's in like the Watch community. Um that I've heard only good things from you too. He actually follows me on Twitter, which is weird. I
don't know. I don't know why he's a g bro, but um, I've always wanted to like reach out. Maybe I'll have him on the show yet. We gotta get him. Yeah, that's awesome though, Like I saw you did some like Mickey Mouse bro wed it was a whole ship show when we did that. Really, he hit me right after we did that. We did this trunk collection. Bro, we have I have more stuff of his still at the house that he's just like, yo, keep that on nice. Yeah,
it's tight, bro, He's like stuff. Yeah, yeah. So we did that and then literally we dropped the pit chure on social media, and then all of a sudden, all day long at Louis, people were coming in and calling like, hey, is a Disney collection available for purchase? And then John's like, yo, bro, like they think they think there's an actual, like Disney collab. It's crazy. Yeah you killed that, thank you. I've seen
those trunks you killed. Thank you. I was so sick, bro, I'm like, yeo, this is tight that he actually wanted something like this. You know, of course, is he just like a Disney fan and that's like something he always I mean, you know, his style is just so so like so it's like viz vim like you know, like like I love I love his style, and I'm like it just goes with it, you know, like that vintage Like when I think of like vintage Jamickey, I think of like japan sees, you know what I mean, because
they love that stuff over there. Um, So I was I was one of That was a good one. Um it was another one, Kylie Jenner. I remember you showed me that. That was a cool one too. Um, that was a whole that was a whole other other thing too. Her mom reached out to me and she's like, oh I love I love your work. Oh blah um, and
he invited me right to the house. Brow Yeah. Like it wasn't like any like you made me off, Like no, bro, It was just straight to you know, the crib and you know, she told me what she wanted and we had we have mutual friends though what I mean, like I've done some stuff. I did some stuff for Scott Um and then you know, she was like, I need Kylie's uh. I think it was her twenty first birthday. I need her gift. And I was like, I'll do it.
You know, that was a cool one. It was like a bunch of vintage like Betty Boo and uh, just like easy monogram like letters and stuff. Fire yeah, fire, dude, I've seen like and those are like those are like these are like people that are like, you know, cool like Chris. I like Chris is sick. You know, she's she's she's really like that mom. And she had a lot on the plate, so I with her she could
joggle all that and be you know, still cool. And then the scene and hip hum besides that are under grande, dude, she's she's dope too. She's cool. Yeah, she's super show. We did we did that a little collection for her mom. Yeah, so that was that was a nice gift that she had me do for for her mom. And they trust me with with whatever, Like yo, just they gave me like the direction and I just kind of executed and add my own touch and they were just blown away.
So would you say that like a lot of the people who come to you are like, yo, I want you to do this exactly, or are they like, oh, I love what you did for so and so you know, they kind of just like, yo, I love the client that are like I know I want something painted. I don't just don't know what I want painted, So can you just do whatever? And I'm like you just okay, you know, like no direction, nothing where They're just like
whatever you feel like painting, that's the best. But for those pieces, they were just kind of like as far as like sizing and placement, they kind of trudge, you know, trust my judgment. Yeah, Well, I mean we still got to do a giveaway. We have to do give what you're doing. You have a little black card holder, dude,
just go crazy on it. I'm gonna go crazy, not even look like it's not even be go Yeah, by time I'm done, it's just like you won't even see the goyard pattern, all right, Hell yeah, it's just gonna be like, oh, they're giving out a regular card holder. Yeah, but if you trip the paint off, then it's you know, just a little expensive. Now we're gonna we have to do the giveaway. Someone lucky is gonna get some some
crazy some crazy art. Yeah, dude, like just go crazy on it, bro, like for real, Like I haven't really showed anybody this on my social media because I don't want to portray something of course. Um, but Eric did this to my wallet. It's it says the word drop out because I dropped out of med school to pursue you know what I'm doing now. And it's thank you. Bro. You don't need to go to med school to make
doctor money. That's a quote. That's a quote, right, you could take that to the bank, yes, sir, Yes sir? And uh, I mean, dude, this this like it means so much to me and you know, like did you killed this? I want to do something even crazier. We gotta do something, um, some sometime soon. I know you're so busy and we've got to give away like a duffel bag or something. Yeah, dude, I'm down. I'm done. We'll do some crazy ship like I feel like the you know, people would funk with that if we gave
away like a crazy duffel bag. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And dude, I mean it just seems like everything is so streamlined with everything. You know, you just get hit up from a friend or anything. You've never had any sort of like weird ship happened ever? Weird? I mean this is weird. Yeah, you know, everything is weird, Like you know what I mean, Like you want me to pain on what have you ever had like an issue with any like other artists. No, that's that's why I want to like hang out with
more painters and stuff like. I just I'm so in my own realm. Yeah. I don't even hang out or acknowledge like other pain It's be like, oh you see what this print? Like, damn my god. I didn't unless they're like unless it's like it's making like news or something like, you know, like some more comedy or something like.
I don't really go on social media and look for these these people you know, do you do have like a favorite that you ever maybe look at from time to time, like a cause where a comedy or you know, it has to it has to be like it has to be like it has to be cause cause he's a man right now, he's a man. I actually have a few cause pieces really yeah, it's they're pretty cool. I have a friend in West Hollywood's crazy cause collection
wild like original like paintings. Dude, they go for like three or four times market price for prints for prints wild and then and then for the for the paintings. It's like it's crazy, that's wild. Yeah, that causes like a he has to be a big inspiration to His color is just like crazy vibrant. You know, the lines
are super crispy. Um, would you ever say, would you say that you've had like one artist in particular from like the past or you know, it could be from like a Picasso too, you know, keep Herring or any like you've never had one in particular that's been like, oh damn, like I love that and I want to recreate that, you know, or not really not really not really, but I don't really get to attached like that. I feel you you know, what I mean, it's just as far as the job goes. Some people like, oh, I'm
like that's cool. I could see the sentiment of value to like you like wanting like you know, like I don't know like Muhammad Ali or something, you know what I mean to represent. I don't know your father, you know what I mean. I get it, but like I kind of just leave it at that, you know. I don't really like go deeper into and be like, man, let me do more research and all that, you know, Yeah, not I feel you man, well, I mean, dude, you've been killing it so far. I loved seeing like the growth.
I'm trying to just be really low key what I mean. I rarely post like I try to just be like another radar, Like I don't want to be corny and lea yo, I'm painting like air forces painting yeasies and you know, then you're gonna come after me, and then there goes there goes our friendship, you know what I mean. I don't want that. Yeah, yeah, I mean obviously I disowned you as a friend and I immediately if you
ever did a fiction, Yeah, immediately, that would be disrespect. Bro. Yeah, I actually think, uh, custom easies look really bad in my opinion, Like I think custom Jordan's are a little bit cooler, but I still really wouldn't rock him. I only had one pair that a fan gave me. He took a Jordan one and he got this like, um, it was like Avenger's bedsheets, and he did like the whole Jordan as like an Avengers Jordan. That was dope. But that was like the one time I was like, Okay, cool,
I'm gonna like this is my one exception. But otherwise, like I'm not I don't really like um, you know, because I feel like sneakers are just a whole different thing than like designer goods, because I feel like designer stuff, like you really there's not a whole lot of um how do I put it, Like every season there might be one or two new Duffles, you know, Whereas with sneakers, it's like they come out all the time, different color ways,
different collapse with artists and stuff like that. So it's like I feel like there's so many sneakers you don't really need to make a custom seeker. I don't know. That's that's my opinion, but but I mean, dude, it's been awesome, like seeing you like grow from when we first met, Like when we first met, you were at like what uh shoot, like when when when was that?
Well as far as like what following, Bro, I think my account was at like no joke, it was at like it had to be less than two thousand followers, dude, like six followers and bro, you had more followers than I did when we first met. I don't even think you had Instagram that you had Instagram, but yeah, it's kind of just just went. You know. That's dude. I'm so proud of you. I'm so happy for you, man, like, happy birthday, bro, nothing but love like you know as
always keep killing it man like, you're so talented. I believe in your bro, and we've got to do some crazy ship together. We've never fucking done anything together, and we gotta start.
