Return to the Alien franchise in this 2024 installment directed by Fede Álvarez (who helmed Don’t Breathe) and set in-between the first two films. While the outing succeeded at the box office, audiences were divided over the third-act twist and the decision to digitally resurrect the late actor Ian Holm as the film’s synthetic, Rook. It just scored an Oscar nom for Best Visual Effects, but what do our hosts make of Alien: Romulus? Are our hearts bursting through our chests with love for this flick, or did it give us indigestion?
