The film, written and directed by the then-thrity-year-old former advertising agent, earned multiple awards and nominations despite its pandemic-forced streaming-only release. Focusing on two young women connected across time by a mysterious telephone, the film packs in twists and turns along the way. Now we’re picking up the phone to answer The Call!
