Lord Krishna's all devouring feature was displayed to Arjuna on the Battlefield of Kurukshetra. As time the Supreme Lord ultimately brings to an end all manifestations of His external material potencies. There are four annihilation's, partial, complete, continual and ultimate.
Markendeya Rsi also experienced Krishna's universal form as related in the 12th canto of Srimad Bhagavatam.
