He is the owner & founder of EveltrakSport.com, a training information resource for coaches, trainers, teachers & parents. Derek has been involved in the sport of athletics most of his life as both an athlete and a coach. He has been coaching for the past 35 years, 25 of them professionally and during that time has served on numerous Canadian and British national teams including the Olympic Games, IAAF World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, and European Championships. Derek is also a husband and father of three children.
