Oil is in turmoil. Covid caused the volumetric consumption of oil to fall tremendously across the globe. In addition to that climate, activists are taking a tough stand against the industry and this is making for bad optics. Many oil companies are working hard to make a transition to renewable energy and this is resulting in a windfall for investors.
