Episode description

When it comes to learning, how can one think more like an investor than a consumer?

Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to an extent that it may have a negative effect on health. Infobesity on the other hand, is an accumulation of negative information consumption or "junk learning", where it may have a negative effect on health in the form of cognitive disfunction and in worst case mental illness.

In this episode, we cover topics such as some of the fundementals of learning, neuroplasticity, learning through emulation, the half life of facts, the feedback ladder, learning transfer and memorization. We also break down ways to fight Infobesity, confirmation bias, social media bubbles, false confidence, the halo effect and more.
