Today will be wolf we will be talking about wolf in different contexts in Polish sayings do you know some sayings in Polish? So, if... The devil. Exactly, in English it's like idiom, which is speak of the devil. Like, na przykład, kiedy We are at the pub and we are talking about our friends and then our friends are here, yes. Here, our wolf. Oh, we are talking about the wolf. Oh, we are talking about the wolf. Yes, we are talking about the wolf. Exactly, it looks like that. In English, it's like your ears were burning. I don't know if you said that in Polish. Yes, in Polish we can translate it like that, yeah.
So, yeah, in Polish it's wolf, in English it's devil. Po polsku devil means szatan. I don't know, do you know? No, what is it? Szatan. Szatan, okay, like Satan, szatan. Lefie w ogóle. Also szatan, diabeł. Diabeł, okay, I've heard diabeł. That's kind of like Hispania as well, Diablo. It's kind of similar.
¶ Common Idioms and Their Meanings
Exactly. Yes, exactly. And, One, wilk w owczej skórze, it's like similar English. Wolf in sheep's clothing. Yes? Do I do it correctly? Yes, yeah. I'm not sure. Yeah. Sheep's clothing. A bit different in translation is that the skóra basically means like the skin. Yes. So like in sheep's skin. Yeah. If you translate it directly. Basically also when it comes to this word cały. Sometimes in some situation jesteś cały, so are you okay? jesteś cały?
Yes, so Mam nadzieję, że wrócisz cały. So for example, it's like, I hope that you'll come back safe. Yes? It's a basically similar context. Have you heard probably in the past? Tak? Jesteś cały? Jesteś cała? Tak? To najważniejsze. It's the most important.

Win-win situation. Wilk, sati, owca cała. And what? It was the last example when it comes to wilk.
