Introduction

Welcome to Learn Polish Podcast, episode number 463. You'll find other episodes on learnpolishpodcast.com, Rampage YouTube and Rumble, short because it thumbs up, fives the rate and shares with your friends. And today we're going to talk about playing Uno. Like, how do you say that in Polish? Gra nie w Uno. Gra? Gra nie w Uno. Nie w Uno. Gra nie w Uno. Nie w Uno. Gra nie w Uno. It sounds strange to me, but okay. So, my game was played many times, right? It was very good, right?

So, the first one was a normal one, a red box. And Daniel has this card.

How to Play Uno

So, we'll explain how to play, yeah? So, everything has seven cards, right? Seven cards. Seven cards. Cards. New cards. Cards. Two cards, one card. Okay, thanks. And there are a few, for example, it can be plus four. And when you do it, you have to say what color. You have to choose a color? Yes, because, for example, when it says blue, I have plus two, then it will be plus six. But when you say, for example, red, I don't have red, I can't do this card.

And other cards are, for example, when Daniel has three reds, I can be all red or all number three, right? And this card, zero, what is it? It's that you lose a turn. You miss a turn, right? You lose a turn, right? A turn. A turn, OK. And then there's another? OK. So that is like 4 colors. So when you have this card, it can be all colors, right? You can choose any color you want. And your opponent must give this color. And if there is none, he must take it from the card. And this card...

For those just listening, it looks like you're shuffling the deck. To exchange, because I remember one time you had 15 cards and I had 3.

Card Strategies and Exchanges

And you make this card and then you have to do half and half, right? So you have to mix the cards. Yes, and this one is very good, right? And I also have Dos Express, which doesn't say... Oh, is that Uno, normal? When you have the last card, you have to say Uno. When you don't say it, you have to say... I took five cards. Five cards. And this is Dos. It's also good. You have to say Dos when you have Dos cards, right? When you have two cards. Two. I'm sorry.

Then, this is just Avengers. This is a card with just good pictures, right? But it's like normal. You have photos and everything is normal.

Variants of Uno

Yes. You only have photos. But you like it too, right? And now I have Uno Flip. For me it's very good, right? Because Uno game is normal. It's a very nice color. But there's a card that does... Of course I don't know where it is. But there's K.O.T.O.F. This is a flip card. When you flip, you turn all the cards. Yes, and that's cool, isn't it? And we play a lot of this too. And the last one, I think it's more, but we have it. It's Uno Dare, right?

And there are a few cards, for example, number 8 Dare. Dare, the dare for example is act like a dog until your next turn. In Polish it's... Pretend that you're a dog until the next turn. Okay. Or pretend you're underwater until your next turn. Pretend that you're underwater until the next turn. That's it.

Uno Dare

So, and Uno likes it a lot. Yes. And he goes to school too. With friends at home too. Yes. So we would recommend that you start playing Uno. And it's not just for kids. It's adults play Uno as well. It's a very enjoyable game.
