Learn Japanese 104: Nami (ni)/並みに
Nov 21, 2017•5 min
Episode description
Nami (ni) is somewhat tricky and has two distinct meanings.
An easy way to differentiate between the two by seeing if 並み is connected to a noun by a particle or not.
If not: That it means to match, or be equal/equivalent to whatever it is connected to.
If so: (meaning it is being connected with a particle etc.) Than is indicates something in general or normally.
