Folklore Friday: The Eight Immortals

A revisit of the tale of the Eight immortals from Chinese Fairy Tales and Legends. The Eight immortals are 8 legendary figures who achieved immortality through great works or deeds. Often depicted in paintings together representing good luck. Each figure represents a specific  subject they're in charge if, so sometimes they're displayed alone and prayed to for specific reasons such as health, safe travel etc.
