Episode description

In this English lesson I'll talk about word pairs that can be confusing. As you learn English it is easy to get confused between certain pairs of words like desert and dessert, or aisle and isle. Some are pronounced the same way, others look very similar but have a very different meaning and pronunciation. It can be very easy to accidentally use the wrong one!

In this free English class I'll help you learn the difference between some confusing word pairs in English, and how to distinguish between when it comes to their pronunciation, meaning, and usage.

I'll go over word pairs that have very similar pronunciations. I'll go over word pairs that have specific rules for usage, and I'll go over word pairs that are easy to define, but their usage can be a bit strange.

I hope you enjoy this English lesson about confusing word pairs!
