但中國是不是就真的買不到澳洲龍蝦了呢？根據彭博的報導指出，雖然澳洲龍蝦進口至中國的數據為零，但是澳洲龍蝦進口至香港的數據卻是成長了20倍，並成為了全球最大的澳洲龍蝦進口地。從香港的人口來看，進口這麼多龍蝦也吃不完。故，能合理推斷這些龍蝦有可能走後門進入中國市場。
