Today’s episode is about the life of the Lebanese poet Khalil Roukoz. He started zajal performances, which are a form of recited poetry at just 17 years only and continued to become one of the most successful poets of the early twentieth century. In these zajal recitations, he dealt with his personal pain, problems of society such as chaos, corruption, and the degeneration of politics.
