Dr. L.D.Hughes serves as a healthcare accreditation surveyor. She has an earned PhD in Health Services Leadership from Walden University and both her Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration and Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Hampton University. Dr. Hughes has been a registered nurse for over 28 years and a Licensed Healthcare Administrator for 19 years. She is also currently serving as a university adjunct professor. Dr. Hughes has conducted research involving person centered care as well as experimental studies in wound care.
