Sign of Circumcision

When Zacheus heard the Messiah was coming his way, he climbed up into a sycamore-fig tree and immediately came down at the Lord's command. We had no idea before this message preached by Pastors Matthew Perot and Wade Sutherland just how analogous that is to the way the Lord is perfecting us. Jesus's word's cut Zacheus to the heart and produced immediate actions towards righteous living. That is the only way that we will bear fruit. We have to allow the Lord to gash us, to circumcise us in an ongoing manner. The "Signs of Circumcision" are seen in all Abraham's children & must be seen in us as well. Let this word from the Lord spur you on, trouble you even to press into bearing the ongoing signs of circumcision.
