Reflection On Being Brought Out

The Lord is truly doing something special in our midst as we remember and reflect on his divine nature and our experience with that divine nature. He is transforming the committed into secure sons, who are gaining ground so that we can govern. In this stirring word from the Lord, Pastor Wade, Pastor Matt, and Elder Eric move us to reflect on what it was and is like to be freed from our sin in an ongoing basis. For surely, we can ask the same God who transformed us initially to save us perpetually as we recognize our need for transformation daily. The miracle is that although once we had no choice, as slaves to sin, without the power to choose, we now have the power to choose freedom every second of the day. He purchased us out of slavery to sin with precious blood to set us free. But what will you do with your freedom? We are no longer slaves to sin, but we also no longer control of our lives either. No, we have freely chosen to become slaves of righteousness and this we are tapping into his transformative power to bring about his will on the earth. May the lamb who was slain receive the reward of his suffering through us as we chose to live out our lives as obedient slaves to his righteousness
