Metamorphosis: Difficulties Develop the Divine

Pastor Matt and Pastor Wade continue our Metamorphosis series with this sermon entitled, "Difficulties Develop the Divine". By focusing on the book of Matthew chapters 22 through 25, our pastors lead us through some of the last lessons that Jesus presents before the cross. Jesus portrays the Kingdom of Heaven as a King who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. After becoming what the groom is, the goal of every union is to produce life! Jesus' discourse continues by demonstrating what the disciples must do to produce life. He speaks of the birth pains, the travails and the lessons that we must master. We must learn that difficulties develop the divine in us! Furthermore, we must display JOY during difficulties. What a powerful revelation!! We are not to just grin and bear it, but we are going to display overwhelming, supernatural joy! Especially in the trials because they transform us!
