Godly Sorrow: Carriers of Indignation

Pastor Matt and Pastor Wade continue our Godly Sorrow series with this sermon entitled, "Carriers of Indignation". The progression of Godly Sorrow takes us from Earnestness to Eagerness and now to indignation. The product of Godly Sorrow is that we carry a great burden that results in indignation for sin. This great burden is found in carrying the unleavened bread of God's Word, God's divine Spirit, and the Holy things assigned to us on our shoulders. We must lift up the Son and not our sin! Worldly indignation is focused on your weaknesses, your sin, and your self loathing while Godly indignation hates sin first in us and then in others. We learn to hate sin because God hates sin! Much like Psalm 45:7 we learn to love righteousness first and then hate sin with a Godly indignation! This is Godly Sorrow in action!
