Foundational Elements

What a powerful time we are having here at LCM! We are fine tuning our faith and our relationships with one another. In this sermon, entitled “Foundational Elements” preached by brother Justin Treaster and Pastor Matthew Perot, we learned the importance of the foundation that spiritual fathers are to set for their sons. The goal is that those sons build upon the foundation that has been laid and are raised up to become brothers that partner with their fathers in the kingdom work. Through the lives of men like Moses, David, and the Apostle Paul, we were shown the spiritual and essential importance of what it looks like to raise up sons who become brothers that then become fathers to their fathers. This can only be done by spiritual fathers decreasing so that their brother sons increase. In addition, we were given seven practical steps to help us achieve what we are aiming for, so that we will have a perpetual priesthood of fathers laying down their lives for their sons who become brothers that then become fathers to their fathers for generations to come.
