Regulators! This was a phenomenal word preached by brothers Paul Rosales & Justin Treaster. In the historical context, the regulators were men who took personal responsibility for upholding justice and establishing order in their locales. As sons of God, this is what we are called to do. We take responsibility for our own hearts, our families, and the body of Christ. We are Christs regulators on the earth & we will bring his order.
“Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” Often times does not our hearts (when we hear something like this) immediately draw expectations and conclusions of what the “rest” will look like? So did the disciples of Jesus. The reality of the kingdom is that true rest and empowerment is found On the Other Side of doing the will of God. It is there that we find God supernatural enablement to do more through us than we ourselves initially thought that we could do.
Our God is unstoppable, and as a result we are unstoppable. We can walk in an unyielding momentum, but this must start by us focusing on the "new" things God is doing. By pressing on towards what is ahead & not getting stuck in our past mistakes or failures. We press on towards what is ahead because of his great love for us!
Unstoppable! That is exactly what our Father is making us into today. We are no longer putting up with familiar enemies of the past, they must be destroyed and silenced through our dependency on our Father who is the God of breakouts. As we rely on Him, He will show us which spirit led path to take, leading to victory against all ancient enemies.
