Episode description

Hello, Friends In the ancient Near East covenants were not "made". The establishment of a covenant was said in Hebrew as "cutting" a covenant. In patriarchal times cutting a covenant was done according to specific forms that are rich in symbolism and meaning. Learning the rules and roles that covenant participants were expected to abide by will deeply enrich the way you view key scriptures in both the Older and Newer Testaments. As you meditate on this message we pray that you are encouraged by the lengths our God has gone to make us certain that His promises are trustworthy. Shalom, The LCMF Staff
